also shooting two police officers. those officers did survive their wounds. manhunt had been going on for a week. police following up on a tip sunday afternoon ended with a shootout that killed vance. authorities released dash cam and aerial video. officials released the video because of significant interest in this case and there is the suspect right there. >> kim: we have an active manhunt in officers have been shot ambush style. it is breaking news and we'll have an update in moments. right now we're talking about authorities trying to identify vandals who poured motor oil on the north dakota capitol building. two people spilling oil on that property and placing a sign saying you can't drink oil. state trooper's say there is a connection between the vandalism
