bandanna. he has a gun in his hand. he is robbing this local smoke shop. police believe this man is the same guy that was shot and killed while trying to rob a 7 eleven store about 24 hours ago. they believe this is the same man within the last two weeks robbed a taco bell , the same 7 eleven , the smoke shop the culprit in those cases wore a hooded bandanna wearing robber. yesterday he was shot by somebody inside that 7 eleven. right now there will be no charges filed against that person who pulled the gun and shot the robber. >> kim: we're going to show you how you can take down an armed suspect without killing the person. local police doing a terrific job yesterday putting their

another. the suspect started shooting at a trash can with a real gun. refusing to comply with responding officers. when he reached into a bag they used a shotgun to fire three bean bag rounds that the person. police think he was under the influence of some sort of drug at the time. he was take on the sunrise hospital for evaluation before being taken to the county jail. hats off to our local law enforcement who deal w saving a life but getting that person under control. >> dana: this is disturbing. the child is alive we understand but a child hit by a school bus here in the valley while riding her bike anyway southwest neighborhood. this happened near cactus and jones. that school bus photographs nearby dropping off students yesterday afternoon when it hit a young girl riding her bike. one witness who was waiting for

bike got trapped under the bus. she was taken to the hospital and we don't know her condition. to newport beach in los angeles where they are reporting they are fighting a large structure fire this morning. this broke out about two and a half hours one burn victim is being treated and another person treated for smoke inhellacious. >> kim: still to come a crowd of people watching as two bald eagles were rescued from a storm drain. how this happened to begin with and how they were finally able to get them free. it's all headed your way. >> dana: a lot of pumpkin spice everything these days.

>> kim: another night of protest across our great nation. this takes us to portland. police were in riot gear for a logger portion of this. a lot of protest have been peaceful. you see something did get violent. in particular this woman stuck in traffic gets out of her car and starts throwing bleach on the people who were protesting near her. as a result she is given a beat down that ended up not being deadly but into certain lockes and take people down for throwing rocks down at law enforcement below. police took to twitter last night saying they considered this a riot because of extensive criminal and dangerous behavior. and protestors tagged building, kicked cars, shattered a window. donald trump took to twitter and

vegas streets. the sheer amount of people in las vegas especially on the strip with tourist and locals is an issue of concern when it comes to keeping people safe. earlier this week a 26-year-old man was arrested accused of shooting two people here on the bridge near las vegas boulevard and harmon. the cases have made headlines. one that is polarizing came from september 2011 when a kidnapped and raped near the win. the boy who was only 15 years old was given 20 years to life. no secret from shootings to stabbings and drug deals metro police have seen it all along the las vegas strip. officers from the convention center area command walk the
