there were two other people a man and woman. the first sign of trouble came when that woman walked outside of the apartment and fired a weapon. she fired a couple of shots and refused to come out. swat forced inside this morning. all of this went down at an apartment complex in the 5400 block of maryland parkway. people forced to since returned to their apartment. nobody injured as well. the 38-year-old female suspect in custody but we haven't heard if she's going to be charged with a crime. metro has identified a person of interest in a recent double murder in the valley. it's a man that is already behind bars. metro wants to talk to that guy

and kneel coffman were found murdered inside an apartment in the southwest part of the valley. an arrest report reveals two of his friends told police valentine a possible suspect in the couple's death because he was upset with neil before the murder. he fired a gun several weeks before the murder and neighbors saw it. >> i thought it was a in front of the driveway. when they saw me, they sped off. he wasn't home when the shots were fired that day. police haven't released any information about a motive for the murders only to say that valentine was upset with him three weeks before the murders happened. >> kim: may have a supply and demand issue here in the great state of nevada. marijuana becomes legal here

for marijuana is going to grow. and that is because they are going to have over the counter sales that start in the year 2018. you saw the senator who plans to go to oregon to see how they are dealing with this. there is a gap between when it's legal to carry and when it's legal to sell in the state of nevada. when the recreational law kicks recreational pot and it's going to be one of those where everyone is going to have to act fast because we've seen in the other states the demand is really out there. new regulations for the state also have to be developed. >> we're hoping that the legislators will recognize the fact that black market is going to be serving the people out there looking to buy it. and that product is not lab tested. it's not approved.

within our state legislature and they are going into session in february. this is still against federal law. when you look at colorado and oregon and washington they are having a hard time dealing with all of the money that comes in because they can't put anytime a traditional bank. >> dana: there are bars and restaurants in denver allowing people to smoke on patios outside. they have to bring their own marijuana but this is expanding in this country very quickly. renegotiated right now. a battle over who gets to pick up our trash. republic services has been responsible for residential trash pickup and recycling in las vegas. they are seeking a 15 year extension but two other trash companies want the city to open up the contracts for bids including western elite. bob sits on the city council in
