impressive but rotation over southerland as we speak. a tornado warning in effect until 7:15 for this cell moving to the northeast at 25 miles per hour. southeastern part of o'brien county and aga, i don't care what a looks like, as we get out of the velocity scope here i will give you an idea of what we aree looking at. show you this quick here and right through here a little bit of red and green. looks like it just disappeared. i just looked two minutes ago stand thhe was s se found there. i was concerned because we were seeing rotation right over southerland. take cover in the area because the tornadoes have been touching downonight. taking place low toohe ground. that is where they are developing and moving to the northeast. law enforcement is the one who confirmed the tornado and it will continue to move to the northeast right around 20 miles per hour. so, at 6:39 damage to a home

of larabie. confirmed damage to a home there. southeastern o'brien county now under a tornado warning until 7:15. the other warnings that we arere concerned about. this looks more impressive. this one they are not confirming a tornado on the ground, but what they are saying is there is still rotation going on. very close to the sheldon, iowa area. this tornado warning goes until 7:15 for south central oceola and northwestern o'brien counties. theeortheast at 20 miles per hour. melvin by 7:05. they are concernd that even though there is just rotation going on we have seen a number of these bring down funnels from the cloud, if nothing else and some have been touching down on the ground, of course. so again, this tornado warning in enext for south central osceola and northwestern o'brien county. we have some orange city, iowa.

tell you what, what you will see is bright, a lot of pictures. it was around 5:30 i'm told and what you see is the funnel coming down. hard to tell if thh is on the ound. that has been the case with a lot of these so far tonight. take my graphics, i have a picture of a couple coming in on facebook as well. this was taken near hospers, iowa. a pretty impressive looking tornado right there up in the vicinity there was reports of damage in some locations. and also reports near the hinton area there m mht have been damage around there as well. here is another one. this one looks especially impressive. again, it is hard to tell exactly how much is actually on the ground. wiwi as l l as these have been developing there i a chance there is a broad rotation going on there. this is also west of hospers, iowa. a lot going on.

the same vicinity. this was video off off facebook, as a matter of fact. this is another impressive look at what has been going on this evening. go back to the graphics. i have one more video to s sw you. one of the first ones come in from sioux city. it was taken close to the hinton, iowa area. and that was one of the first funnels that was being reported this evening. in fact,t, a warning never ended up going out on this because these were so low to the ground that doppler radar was overshooting some of the rotation taking place meaning it couldn't be seen. it wasn't until people started saying there are funnels out here that it was kind of clueing everybody in to what was really going on. we always appreciate pictures and video and things like that. it helps us understand and it helps the national weather service because as soon as i heard that i got on the line with the national weather service and said just so you know, this is going on and sure enough it has become a biggege night than expected. remember, when it tornado

warning issued it means take cover now. move it to an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy building. always avoid windows. if you are in a mobile home or vehicle or outdoors, always get inside. move to the closest substantial structure that you can possibly ffd and protect yourself from flying debris. you can do that a number of ways by grabbing anything that you can. getting undersomething sturdy is a good thing to do. if you can grab blankets and pillows and things like that to help keep you safer as well. that can be helpful as well. here is the latest report that has just come in. this is one t tt i h he alreadydy talked about. we have a little more information here. at 6:39 they are saying that the law enforcement two miles north of laraby reported a tornado lifted a roof off of a house. this tornado warning is still in effect a a we speak and this goes

until 7:15. the velocity begins here to see if we can see any kind of reds meeting green. up here, we have a little moreau expectation there. you can see there is not -- a little more rotation. not a whole lot of thunderstorm left but the clouds there are still producing rotation. it ma i be as far north -- it may be as far north as that. this wasas over sutherland five-mile-per-hours ago. im-- minutes oh guy. i'm hoping that the rotation has lilied when you see that it seems like it is losing some of this tornado picture was taken ououide of cherokee is the same vicinity we are talking about here. that is mandi james who took that. a good picture from the cherokok, iowa area. and this has been an unusual night. we had obviously tornadoes in october before but usually you can see them coming to be honest.
