you want to mix all of this together, and then actually what i did is i cooked this in a slow cooker for about 2 hours. and then i stirred it, kind of whenever i walked by, about 20 minutes or so." s- "oh, a slow cooker? like a crcckpot?" w- "yeah. yeah like a crockpot." s- "really?" w- "because i didn't have to watcit quite as much as the oven, and it was easier for me to stir. and then once you have that heated through in your crockpot or in the oven, however you want to do it, just lay it out on one layer, and let it cool before you serve it, and that's it. and you can really smell the pumpkin in this recipe as well." s- "it's really good. how long in the oven? i don't know if you already said that." w- "it takes about 2 hours in the oven." s- "oh, yeah, in the oven." w- "and that is one thing: don't rush that and turn your oven temperature up, because i have tried that, and you burn it. so make sure you do that really low, about 200, 225 degrees otherwise, you do burn it and it's not worth it." s- "this is really good. alright whitney, happy halloween." w- "thank you." s- "and if you like the recipe to this pumpkin chex mix, go to ktiv-dot-com, and click on the news link."
