chris christie to drop out of the race, stating "...the governor is off pursuing a presidential run that's turned out to be nothing more than a vanity project," but the head of the garden state says he has no plans to withdrawal. "i don't raise taxes, i don't raise spending, i don't give into vanity projects for law enforcement, i enforce the law and that's why the new york times doesn't like me," said new jersey governor. chris christie. finishing the night, rick santorum, looking to use his blue collar appeal to pick up speed, as time begins to slip away from the former pennsylvania senator... "we want to make american the number one manufacturing in the world," said fmr. pennsylvania senator rick santorum. iowa a couple of candidates made the rounds in siouxland. florida senator marco rubio held a happy hour at bev's on the river. he talked about strengthening families and keeping the government out of education. his stop is just two days after the last gop debate in boulder, colorado where many said he grabbed the spotlight. and, former pennsylvania senator rick santorum making some stops in le mars, iowa today. he even dropped by bob's drive inn to make some hot dogs. santorum says he's ramping up his campaign in the hawkeye state and even doubled the number of stafafmembers working on his campaign. from washington today: an escalation announced by the obama administration in the war against isis. u.s. special forces will enter the battle on the ground in

a ceceral iowa bus driver faces charges for attacking a special needs teenager. the incident was recorded by a cellphone. it shows students yelling at a man who appears to hit a student at the back of the bus. police say the student has a mental disability. robert scarbrough was arrested yesterday. a spokesperson for the johnston school district says scarbrough was hired three months ago. he's been charged with child endangerment . a record number of motorcyclists have died on south dakota roads this year. 31 people have died this year. that's 50 percent higher than the 15-year average. the increase is likely because

roads. the number of licensed motorcyclists in south dakota last year was up 69 percent from 20 years earlier. siouxland sleepout made some big announcement s today about the annual sleepout. the sleepout was only supposed to go for 10 years-- but the issue of homelessness continues-- so the misson goes on. every year siouxlanders spend the night outside sleeping in makeshift tents on e field of explorer stadium. the family friendly ent is next friday night and they're expecting around 300 people. so far they've raised half a the years. the goal this year is to raise stays locally. a big red ribbon week activity took place in northwest iowa today. police officers from ida county, woodbury and mapleton came together for the event. they played with students on the playground and then enjoyed a treat in the lunchchoom. red ribbon week is an alcohol, drug and tobacco prevention and awareness campaign. brad's h he -- with another night of nebraska fofoball playoffs. norfolk, norfolk catholic and battle creek
