law enforcement agencies were made aware of the missing weapons. f-b-i special agent hank shaw says there is no indication that the weapons are connected to any kind of terrorism threat and that officials are working to recover them immediately. it is unknown what type of weapons were stolen or if there is a suspect description. a police shooting in minneapolis, minnesota has sparked controversy with the n-double-a-c-p and black lives matter movement. responding to an assault call on saturday night... police got into a physical altercation with suspect jamar clark. an officer fired his gun... killing clark who was in his mid-twenties... in front of witnesses. some people at the scene say clark was in handcuffs when he was shot... but police deny that. the minnesota bureau of criminal apprehension has taken over the investigation. some people are outraged... and took to the streets yesterday to protest. others are calling for patience until the investigation provides answers. the two officers involved are now on paid administrative leave. severe weather hit california's central valley yesterday.

the storm spawned a tornado that touched down in denair in stanislaus county. multiple trees were downed and a few houses were damaged. a church was also damaged in the storm. no injuries have been reported. power is out to hundreds in the area. the unusual weather comes as northern california experiences a storm system for the third sunday in a row. the mid america museum of aviation and transportation held a ceremony the saturday after veterans day to emphasize how important it is to say thank you... every day. nat pop of trumpet playing. the ceremony recognized veterans and those who paid the ultimate price. it began with a presentation of colors, followed by the pledge of allegiance and the national anthem. the museum's executive director says we should think about the values we have and say thank you to veterans for their service, on a daily basis. "the sad part is...we only do it one day a year. it's something that should go on daily that this is the reason that we

have the freedoms that we do in the united states is the fact that we do have a strong military," said executive director of mid america museum of aviation and transportation, larry finley. after the national anthem, one active member of the air national guard gave a speech on the importance of celebrating our veterans and recognizing their service to the country. hope and peace at trinity lutheran church in sioux city. it was music that relates to conflicts in the world today. the choir's director says this style of music lifts people up and brings hope of good things to come. and, the kids learn from the music too. "they learn a lot about music so that it carries on into their future-- in middle school, high school, and college and as a lifetime gift because they actually learn to sing together quite well under the direction of shirley luebke," said trinity lutheran church, pastor paul johnston. the homer, nebraska fire department was packed with heavy hearts as the community remembered one of their own. 25 years ago, they lost their assistant fire chief in the line of duty and yesterday-- firefighters, family and community members gathered to honor his service. ktiv's tommie clark attended that special ceremony.

25th anniversary memorial service in honor of gene is not only important for their family, but also for the homer fire department family too." "it's the least we can do because he was part of the family and still is," said homer fire department safety officer and former assistant rescue chief, robert meins. the ceremony began with a message from the current fire chief, followed by an honor guard presentation. there was then a prayer, music, heartfelt speeches and a moment of silence. ...then they played the last call page. "copple, thank you for your service...and may you rest in peace." the sixteen-year veteran of the homer fire department left behind his wife, marilyn , and three daughters-- molly, shelly and megan. "it's a healing process for the girls. they've grown up not having their dad around and that was hard," said gene copple's wife, marilyn copple. they're thankful for the memories and it's made them a stronger and closer family. authorities evacuated a plane heading from boston n to washington yesterday b bause of suspicious activity. this is video of passengers finally arriving to their destination later in the day. american airlines flight 21-24 was about to depart from ronald reagan washington national airport when the crew expressed ncerns about two pasasngers. everyone on board was told to get off the plane while authorities swept the aircraft. authorities questioned the two people while the other passengers continued to boston. the two suspects were later released. american airlines said they would be accommodate d on a later flight. a memorial service was held yesterday for a pastor's wife who was shot and killed at her home in indianapolis. more than 2-thousand people came to bid their goodbyes to amanda blackburn.

police say she was shot during a home invasion tuesday morning... while she was 12-weeks pregnant. her 1-year-old son was also at home, but he was not injured. amanda's husband, pastor davey blackburn, found her when he came back home from the gym. she died in the hospital on wednesday. police have called on the public to help them with any information that can help identify the suspects. on saturday night, the sioux city orpheum theatre hosted a dance and symphony mash-up. dancers from tv shows "dancing with the stars" and "so you think you can dance" partnered with singers from "american idol" and musicicis from the symphoho orchestra. and, we e t an exclusive interview with the stars of the show called-- "ballroom with a twist." nat pop of dancing with music. the event combines live music, singing, and performances by professional dancers. the audience heard everything from the foxtrot to the samba. thousands of cars and warning drivers there may be a problem with the vehicles' steering controls. south korea's second- largest automaker announced it was recalling 260-thousand kia souls saturday. kia says the adhesive used to secure the steering pinion gear may not be strong enough. if it fails... the pinion gear could separate... and drivers can't control the car. the souls being recalled were made in 2014 and 2015. the company says there have been five cars claiming to have the problem... but no reports of any accidents or injuries. facebook is taking some flak for activating its safety check feature after the paris terrorist attacks. the feature allowed facebook users in the area to notify their friends they are safe. it had been used only five times before, after some natural disasters. some people later asked why facebook didn't activate that feature after thursday's deadly bombings in beirututlebanon. e-o mark zuckerberg wrote that faceok's policy until saturday was to activate safety check

storm. no ininries have been reported. power is out to hundreds in the area. the unusual weather comes as northern california experiences a storm system for the third sunday in a row. the mid america museum of aviation and transportation held a ceremony the saturday after veterans day to emphasize how important it is to say thank you... every day. nat pop of trumpet playing. the ceremony recognized veterans and those who paid the ultimate price. it began with a presentation of colors, followed by the pledge of allegiance and the national anthem. the museum's executive director says we should think about the values we have and say thank you to veterans for their service, on a daily basis. the homer, nebraska fire department was packed with heavy hearts as the community remembered one of their own. 25 years ago, they lost their assistant fire chief in the line of duty and yesterday-- firefighters, family and community members gathered to hononohis service. ktiv's tommie clark has more from that special ceremony.

to honor one of their fallen. bagpipes playing. the homer fire department lost gene copple due to injuries suffered in a rescue call decades ago, but his memory was certainly present sunday. "his wife and children say the 25th anniversary memorial service in honor of gene is not only important for their family, but also for the homer fire department family too." "it's the least we can do because he was part of the family and still is," said homer fire department safety officer and former assistant rescue chief, robert meins. the ceremony began with a message from the current fire chief, followed by an honor guard presentation. there was then a prayer, music, heartfelt speeches and a moment of silence. ...then they played the last caca page.
