prototters in minneapolis calling fofomore transparency inin the investigation of 24-year-old jamar clark's death. clark was shot in the head by police officers sunday after they responded to an alleged domestic dispute. police say clark was interfering with paramedics, while protesters say clark was handcuffed when he was fatally shot. the man convicted of killing the son of n-f-l player adrian peterson has been sentenced to life in prison. 29-year-ololjoseph patterson wasas also sentenced to 25 years in prison for aggravated battery of an infant and will not be eligible for parole. the sentencingook about two and a half hours. the toddler died in october 20-13 and an autopsy concluded that he sustained four blows to the head... which bleed. doctors determined that the injuries could not have been patterson was convicted in late september of second-degreeee murder and other charges in the boy's death. patterson's attorney indicated in court that ey will appeal the conviction.

three dogs with one common bond all need some guidance. there's strays collete.. and diva, who with her fiesty spirit, lives up to her name. plus, liza with an opposite attitute. so shy, the family who adopted her returned the puppy to noah's hope animal rescue. noah's hope then turned to a group of men with the time to take care of them. "the training they're getting would have taken months of months in foster home to get that training," said deanna jarvis, noah's hope volunteer. that canine coaching, with gentle hands and soothing words, comes from behind razor wire. "we get a lot of troubled dogs just like we get the troubled inmates suppose to be here to get fixed," said louis vandermolen/from yankton. nine inmates from the mike durfee state prison in springfield, south dakota teaching the trio of dogs. "they all have different attitudes. some are nice. some days they are growly and some days they are really friendly. they are really cooperative," said sheila brummer "t"t prison launched the hounds of hope program back in april givivi these dogs intense e training when they find their forever home."
