"the biggest thing is everybody slow down. nobody's life is worth getting there early. once you start spinning your tires you start sliding you've lost control so it's best to just stay in control," said bus driver, rick stewart. stewart says to always keep safety in mind. he says drivers often think since buses are so big they get more traction, but they really don't, so drivers need to slow down around them. if you have to travel, check the road conditions before you go. you'll find a link at our website, ktiv-dot-com. under the weather tab, scroll down to "road reports."
