also a school district employee because he was a soccer coach at west high. the girl's mother has filed a federal lawsuit against the sioux city community school district. north high school's previous band director resigned after stealing thousands of dollars of f hool inststments. in 2013, kevin massey was sentenced to three years of probation and a five-year suspended sentence. he pleaded guilty to theft after prosecutors lowered the charge. new details are being released following a threat made friday against sheldon high school. the threat was written on a bathroom wall of the school, but officials have not revealed whatt the threat said. accordininto the o'brien county attorney, a 14-year-old boy was taken into custody on saturday. the county attorney confirmed he was a student of the high school. the boy was taken into detention. a hearing is set to determine whether he should be held in detention or released. that hearing will take place sometime before christmas. so, far no charges filed against four students in connection with a threat at the high school in newman grove, nebraska.. the threat, was posted on

getting ready to watch the movie. the last showing tonight at the carmike is at 11:20 p.m. star wars fever began early this evening at the promenade in downtown sioux city. dozens of people filed in before the seven o'clock premiere of the movie. there were people of all ages looking forward to catching "the force awakens" as soon as they could. "the battles, the lightsaber battles and he likes the laser battles," said 11-year-old xander deleperdang. "first movie there was not that much computer graphics," said david satory, a sioux city resident. "second set had a lot of computer graphics. this one's supposed to be a mix of both so i'm happy both ways." many fans were dressed in costumes to help bring the movie alive in their own way. "princess leia because she's the girl," said cathy robinson, a marcus, iowa resident. "she's the pretty princess. so that's why." "i've got the mandalorian mask going on," said patrick davidson, a sioux city resident. "it shows how much of a mandalorian -how revan took on the mandalorian army on by himself."
