there's been a new development in the case of "affluenza teen" ethan couch. it appeared that he and his mom would fight deportation from mexico. but asasd lavandera reports, tonya couch is now back in the united states.

is continuing a new year's eve tradition this year as it continues recovering from a spring tornado. the e all town began holding a new year's eve parade as a show of patriotism following the sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks. it's believed to be the only daytime new year's eve parade in south dakota. a may tornado that ripped through delmont wiped out four blocks of the town. about 75 of the town's 200 residents have since left. yesterday, more than 350 kids competed to see if they y have what it takes to be a ninja warrior. the second annual siouxland ninja warrior camp began monday at morningside college in sioux city. the camp put on by sunnybrook community church included different stations with several inflatables. the event is aimed at teaching kids to participate in physical activity. yesterday marked the last day of the camp this year. camp director, matt holmes, says he wants even more inflatables for next year's event. some ice sculptors in canada are taking advantage of all of the snow

keepers at a russian aquatic park by painting a picture using brushes held in its mouth. the freshwater lake in russia's eastern siberia is the only place where the rare seals can be found but the animals are shy and usually avoid people. this aquatic park presented a rare opportunity to see the seals performing stunts, including painting. while the selection of colors was up to a trainer, the creative part was done by the seal, which jumped out of water with a brush in its mouth and applied paint on canvas fixed by the side of the pool. when the painting was rey, the seal, following the trainer's command, "signed" it by adding the first letter of its name to the lower right corner.
