folk musicians played a range of wintertime favorites at the center on sioux city's missouri riverfront. the program called "music to chase away the winter blues" included songs like "wintertime blues" and "here comes the sun." the center's director says you can connect the music from today with lewis and clark's expedition. "how did they keep spririts up? how did they relax? how did they celebrate? music. music and dancing. so what better to have music a wondeful tie with history right here in siouxland," said lewis and clark interpretive center director, marcia poole. the father-son singers from today describe themselves as an "old time" multi-instrumentali st group. the iowa national guard was called in to help with flood recovery efforts in missouri. the guard was tasked with transporting clean water from other water districts to the towers in jefferson county. they brought 15 tankers with them - each one able to carry about two- thousand gallons of water. they say the entire process from fill-up to drop off to return
