"that she went through all this," said kellesse heard. kellesse heard gets emotional talking about her aunt. using both hands to wipe tears away. "and i'm thankful to have her in my life," said heard. her aunts husband and kellesse's uncle, edward courts, battled with stage four stomach cancer. he died in december. "and i had a thirdrdrade teacher who had breast cancer," said heard.d. so, kellesse wanted to make a difference. from sports hats to bucket hats and custom hats. wednesday was hat day at crescent park elementary because of her.
