and one count aggravated assault resulting in serious bodily injury. officers attempted to take angel into custody in september when police say he assaulted two people and attempted to carjack a woman at gunpoint. he later pointed a gun at the officers. the d-c-i concluded the shooting by officer jason foote was justified. officer foote spoke at the sentencing and said he had never been in fear of his and his colleagues lives until that day. an akron, iowa man has been arrested for burglary and domestic abuse. 35-year-old nathan leekley was arrested at his le mars, iowa residence earlier today on a warrant for burglary, domestic abuse assault and violation of a no contact order. leekley was taken to the plymouth county jail. these charges stem from an incident that occured earlier this morning. still to come.... we've got action from 10 different basketball games around siouxland. highlights are coming up on
