"you know along with this job goes the fact that you're always called away from things," said ford. "so that will end now.

and one count aggravated assault resulting in serious bodily injury. officers attempted to take angel into custody in september when police say he assaulted two people and attempted to carjack a woman at gunpoint. he later pointed a gun at the officers. the d-c-i concluded the shooting by officer jason foote was justified. officer foote spoke at the sentencing and said he had never been in fear of his and his colleagues lives until that day. an akron, iowa man has been arrested for burglary and domestic abuse. 35-year-old nathan leekley was arrested at his le mars, iowa residence earlier today on a warrant for burglary, domestic abuse assault and violation of a no contact order. leekley was taken to the plymouth county jail. these charges stem from an incident that occured earlier this morning. still to come.... we've got action from 10 different basketball games around siouxland. highlights are coming up on

donald trump's bid for president has another reality star throwing support behind his campaign, 'duck dynasty' star willie robertson. he introduced and endorsed trump thursday night at the outdoor sportsman awards in las vegas. trump thanked willie for his endorsement, and reaffirmed his support for the second amendment. this comes only a week after willie's controversial relative phil robertson endorsed trump rival ted cruz. two republican presidential candidates will be in siouxland tomorrow. frontrunner donald trump will be in sioux center at dordt college. he will speak at 11 a.m. door open at 9. doctor ben carson will stop in sioux city tomorrow. there will be a prayer service at the orpheum theatre. the event is in memory of the staffer who died tuesday in a van accident in cass county, iowa. doors open at 11 and the event starts at 1. that'll do it for news and weather but, our sportsfource extra crew is just getting warmed up. highlights from ten games coming
