preparation for a competition. over 400 students from across nebraska came to the chuck pohlman ag complex in norfolk for a tune up for the state future farmers of america competition later this year. a lifestock judging coach says the students at the competition are learning different skills, most importantly decision-making as they explain their judgments on how they rated thehe cale, sheep and hogs. the winners from today's district competition will then compete at the state f-f-a convention in april. still to come... broom ball, mega snow pong and tons of food.... the winter games kicked off today.
