not the legislature. a dallas company canceled plans to build a nearly 31-million dollar rail car maintenance facility in sioux city. trinityrail officials confirmed the news to city officials earlier this month. the company announced the sioux city expansion back in october of 20-14. at that time, there was a surge in tanker cars transporting crude oil and ethanol, which had raised demand for the company's services. as global prices for crude oil drop, so has the demand for tankers. the facility was supposed to create 250 news jobs. an american airlines flight landed safely yesterday after being forced to divert to waterloo, iowa. the pilot declared an emergency after reporting an odor in the cabin. 26-passengers were on board. some said they could smell smoke and that the floor of the plane felt hot. the pilot landed the plane later. the flight was en route to chicago from sioux falls, south dakota. a diffffent plane took

"he said he didn't feel right and i said, 'okay. do you want me to stay home?' he said, 'no, go ahead and go bowling,'" says paula.

"i've never seen a colorful, hot air balloon any time in january in the middle of winter so i made it a point to follow it and see what it was up to," sasa david. he snapped several that day. capturing kim's last moments without knowing it. "i don't know what to say, you hope as a photographer that your imageshave some kind of an impact on somebody, but you never know," says david. "it's a good memory for us it's hard to be sad when you see something like that and know how much it meant to so many people," says paula. nats-music? the number of farms and ranches in nebraska declined again last year. the u-s department of agriculture says the number of farms and ranches in the state went down 400 from the
