police say it all started when a male and female suspect barged into the office during an appointment around 7:15. thats when police say they pushed the doctor, patient, and medical assistant into a room and started ransacking the business and pistol whipping the doctor. trying to stop the ordeal, that medical assistant ran to his car to get his own gun....and that's when he saw the suspects coming down the steps. police say he shot at them- hitting the woman, who began taking off her clothes - and the male suspect ran off before police could get there. the female was taken to umc alive but died of her injuries- now police are trying to track down that male suspect. lieutenant dan mcgrath, metro police "there's a scene inside, there's a scene outside, there's blood around the building, there's blood that across the street so it's quite a big scene both inside and outside" police say the female suspect was possibly a former patient and the male doesn't have much description except that he was wearing a ski mask and is possibly injured. right now hospitals across the valley are on the lookout for a

wound. reporting live jh channel 13 action news we're following some major weather developments tonight. a live look outside where the mercury is diving toward the low 30's.. and we'll probably see freezing temperatures in a lot of areas overnight. lets check in with chief meteorologist bryan scofield.. who's tracking how low the mercury will go. a northwesterly flow aloft will keep temperatures below average tomorrow, although they will still be a little warmer than this afternoon. expect highs in the low 50s tomorrow, with partly cloudy skies and calm winds. high pressure will bring warmer temperatures for friday and saturday with highs in the mid to upper 50s friday and around 60 on saturday. the winds will pick up to breezy on saturday, ahead of another system that will bring slight chances for rain that afternoon, along with a little cool- down for sunday. the winds will remain breezy on sunday and high temperatures will top off in the mid to upper 50s. skies will remain partly cloudy through the weekend and for the start to next week.

some metro officers took ke part in the 'season of peace' at downtown summerlin. the goal was for children to come from all over the west part of the valley to be part of the event.
