all we know at this point is that the school will likely face some sort of punishment we'll pass along the exact details when we get them. just moments ago, a special session got underway up in reno! here's a live look inside the senate chambers. state lawmakers are discussing a pair of big bills. the biggest one is a tax incentive package for an electric car maker that wants to construct a plant in north las vegas. faraday future would get 215- million dollars in incentives for the plant. lawmakers are hoping to have a deal done by the end of this he'll have live reports coming up on later editions of action news. a fourth ccsd employee arrested in one month. this after dozens of i-pads go missing from a local elementary school. police arrested gordon goujon monday for stealing 40 i-pads from scott elementary. goujon works in the i-t department. investigators say he was

electronics to watson elementary, but the school never got them. police found goujon pawned 3 of the tablets. he told officers a man named eric...who he thought was a ccsd employee...took the ipads. then days later, eric met him at a gas station and gave him three..saying quote "it's free money." goujon says he panicked and pawned them. police are still trying to track down the remaining ipads. but in the meantime, parents are not happy about any of this. "that hurts the tax-payers. we paid for those and now it's going to take a lot to replace them." goujon's brother pierre was also arrested for listing his name as the co- owner of the ipads, when they pawned them. both of them are out on bail right now. a violent robbery at a doctor's office ends with gunfire... one of the suspects is dead. and police are waiting for the other to show up at the hospital.

stormed into the office near charleston and rancho last night. they then pushed the doctor, a patient and a medical assistant into a room... pistol whipped the doctor, and started ransacking the office for drugs and money. the medical assistant ran to his car to get his gun. police say he then opened fire... hitting them. lieutenant dan mcgrath, metro police "there's a scene inside, there's a scene outside, there's blood around the building, there's blood that across the street so it's quite a big scene both inside and outside" the man ran off, and the woman died at u-m-c. officers think she may have been a former patient of the doctor. hospitals are on the lookout for a man coming in with a gunshot wound. we're told the doctor is recovering at umc with facial injuries. three men charged with breaking into homes, brutally attacking, and even sexually assaulting the people inside... all in the southwest part of the valley. now district attorney steve

behind bars for a long time. prosecutors say the trio broke into at least 3 homes in just about 5 weeks... tying up their victims, beating them with handguns and revolvers, and ransacking their homes. they're now charged with 46 different felonies. "they deserve to be an example for their conduct, their conduct was outrageous, extremely violent against innocent senior citizens" because of the violent and traumatic nature of the crimes, police say there were multiple elderly victims and a child, on at least one occasion. an action news update now on monday's deadly police shooting. we just learned the name of the metro police officer involved and man killed. the officer is solon mc-gill... and the victim 45-year-old roberto ortiz sanchez. the shooting happened on king palm avenue, near walnut and cheyenne. officers were reporting to a

michael skelton made his first appearance in court. a judge set his preliminary hearing for december 31st. police arrested skelton...after they he was caught on camera, with his pants down in the teacher's room. meanwhile, the principal of dondero elementary, where skelton worked... sent a letter to parents, saying they don't think he had any contact with students. a man is in the hospital following an early morning shooting. police are investigating it as a possible domestic situation, but we're still waiting for more details. we don't yet know if any arrests have been made. it all happened near ann and rainbow. we're told the man was shot in the leg, and should be ok. new detaills on a homicide investigation -- we've just learned the identify of the body found earlier this month near u-s 95 and lone mountain. that person is 27-year-old camron ryan. the coroner ruled his death as a gunshot wound to the head.

missing... mainly, the person who killed him. a brawl at an apartment complex turns deadly. right now, police are looking for two people in connection to the crime! officers say yesterday, a group of 5 or 6 people got into a fight in the courtyard of the apartments near boulder highway and nellis. the fight moved inside a unit the complex's management say none of the people involved live there. right now, police are also searching for men they believe are breaking into businesses all over the valley in the middle of the night. detectives tell us during each break-in, the men break the glass of the front doors or go through the drive- thru window. the suspects take off in a smaller white s-u-v or station wagon type car. for the past few weeks, our team has been covering some
