suspect near southern highlands parkway and saint rose.. that suspect.. teag fox.. is accused of shooting a metro police officer. he was on the run for more than six hours.. at one point, even sheriff joe lombardo was chasing him! this afternoon we're learning more about the suspect and hearing from new witnesses. action news reporter elizabeth gadley joins us live from the emerald suites near las vegas pebble.. where the shooting took place. i was told by a number of people here at emerald suites that the suspect, teag fox, lived in one of the units right near where the shooting happened. metro has not confirmed that information yet. but people who live here say they saw him around the complex... they don't believe he lived here long but they don't know for sure. right now fox is behind bars facing a number of very serious

including attempted murder on a police officer and battery on a police officer. it all happened around noon yesterday. metro says the officer was investigating a completely unrelated domestic disturbance call at the emerald suites when the suspect walked up and said something to him. before the officer could respond police say fox started shooting. it happened right outside janine sawyer's door, she got home just minutes after the officer was shot. 00:28:20:00 the individual was shirtless at the time and i saw he had a strip down his pants and that's when i realized he was probably an officer. 00:29:14;00 this is probably the worst thing that you know ever happened in my vacinity, i mean to have an officer shot right outside the door the good news is according to police that officer is expected to make a full recovery. coming up tonight on action news at five, we're getting a new look at the chaotic scene in the aftermath of the shooting. i'll have the dramatic cell phone footage. an early morning fire sent one

13.. a warning about indoor tanning beds. the f-d-a is proposing new rules to protect the public. the first would ban anyone under the age of 18 from using the beds.. it would also require adults to sign a "risk acknowledgement certificate" before they use a bed for the first time.. and every six months afterward. the other proposed rule would require tanning salons to make radiation warnings easier to read. it would also increase the strength of protective goggles.. and require salons s o install "panic buttons" on every bed. the f-d-a says about 1.6-million people use tanning beds every year -- 3-thousand of those people have to visit the emergency room because of their tanning. and people who tan regularly are at a 59-percent greater risk of developing melanoma. now to the most hated man in america -- "martin shkreli".. the drug company executive who first made headlines for jacking up the price of an h-i-v drug.. is free on 5-million dollars bond today.. after being arrested for securities fraud! court documents say the

investors. but when he lost their money...he took money from new investors to pay off the old ones. he then started a company...buying old drugs and selling them for higher prices. and that money was then used to pay off his investors. teen". ethan couch.. the texas teenager... who. was spared jail time and put on probation after killing four people while driving drunk. now.. he's nowhere to be found.. and he may have a three-week head start on authorities. abc's elizabeth hur reports. not long after posting this video from a booze party on twitter.. investigators say ethan couch vanished. the 18-year-old was due in court on december 3rd for his probation hearing.. but not only was he a no-show.. his mother is also missing. sheriff dee anderson, tarrant county: "i believe they left after his last appointment with his probation officer // i believe they planned and timed the getaway to give them maximum amount of time to be gone before we started looking for them." the fbi and us
