investigation. today they confirmed the suspect is 38- year-old teag fox, a fact action news brought you yesterday through our sources. metro would not tell us about his past or any record with police. fox was booked into the clark county detention center for attempted murder, battery, and battery resulting in substantial bodily harm -- all with a deadly weapon on a police officer. he was also arrested for discharging a firearm into an occupied structure. metro says he was taken into custody without incident, and they found the gun he used. we have a lot of questions for metro that they wont answer for us. we still dont know his motive for shooting the officer or how he got from their tight perimeter on las vegas boulevard all the way to southern highlands, several miles away. live at metro headquarters, stephanie zepelin, channel 13 action news. we want to get straight to the scene of breaking news -- one person killed in a

acleading police on a wild chase across orange county. we were fixated on the monitors watching this one after we went off the air.. it started on i-5 in irvine.. and wound its way through santa ana.. we watched as the driver went the wrong way down several highways.. and crossed multiple medians in an attempt to avoid police -- before ultimately bailing out of his vehicle and surrendering to police. in the wake of several recent mishaps.. allegiant airlines is increasing training for pilots and dispatchers. in july.. a plane leaving from las vegas made an emergency landing in north dakota after the pilots told flight controllers they
