what about driving while you're drowsy? a new study shows that it could dr. timothy johnson.. reports. we're hearing more and more about how hazardous it is, driving drowsy. but what about people who have to do it every day -- 9.5 million night shift workers who commute to work? for them, the risks are particularly prominent. now a new study? suggesting exactly how risky after-work driving can be for those overnight workers? saying that driving drowsy can make you up to six times more likely to crash your car. sleep medicine researchers at harvard medical school compared the safety of drivers who had been up all night working... versus those who got a full night's rest.
