you see the officers release a god toward the car police thought was connected to a robbery. then the officer runs towards the car, once he realizes the baby is inside. quick nat of crying the 17 month old suffered nine puncture wounds from the bite. the officer voluntarily switched to a new assignment within the department. the police chief released a statement saying "the dog may have been used too quickly" and there could have been more communication between officers before the dog was used." breaking right now -- some good news for one family. 29 year old eliseth villalobos has been found! north las vegas police did not reveal where she was found... but she is safe and with her family. the woman from north las vegas was reported missing december 6th. just two days left until new years, while people are planning their celebrations... police are ramping up security all across the u-s. right now, there are no known, credible threats against any u-s cities.

a warning for everyone this new year's holiday -- clark county health officials just issued an air qaulity advisory for thursday night, until friday! that's because of all the fireworks that will be going off for new year's eve. all that smoke could aggravate anyone with respiratory diseases. today is looking to be a carbon copy of yesterday with a slight breeze during the early morning then fizzling out to a 5-10 mph winds by this afternoon. mainly sunny skies will be common and will hold until saturday. high temperatures still hover in the upper 40s and low 50s through the next seven days but the one thing we continue to watch develop is our next low pressure system from the pacific northwest.

and killing his own father. we just learned the father's name -- he's 68-year-old mbayi ngenza. his 21-year-old son...eugene tshiyombo is now facing murder charges. henderson police were called out to the home near green valley and paseo verde on monday, to check on a missing person. that's where they found the victim had been shot and killed. detectives believe the duo were arguing, which may have led to the murder. and another murder suspect is behind bars-- he's vernon newson junior. police say he shot and killed a 28-year-old woman earlier this month...on i-15 right near the lamb exit. police tracked him down in southern california and arrested him. he will be brought back to north las vegas to face murder charges. two cities on edge today...all because of deadly police shootings. overnight, protestors take to the streets in chicago and cleveland. let's start in chicago -- protestors went straight to the front door of chicago mayor rahm emanuel...demanding his
