at five... enrique marquez... the friend of the two accused shooters in the san bernardino massacre... has been indicted on terrorism charges for his role in the attacks. police say marquez provided syed farook with the two assault rifles used in the shooting that killed 14 people. marquez is also accused of conspiring farook to carry out attacks on a southern california college and freeway in 2011 and 2012 that were later abandoned. police say an argument ends with a son shooting and killing his father. tonight while we are learning more about their relationship...

after school events that lasted too late into the night. sunday it appears the tention between fahter and son boiled over. police saying there was an argument the day before the body of the 68 year old father was discovered. we have attempted to get in touch with family members. we will let you know when we hear back. tonight the 21 year old remains at the henderson detention center. one man was stabbed to death in what police are calling a tense love triangle that pushed this man to kill. just after one a-m... police came out to a stabbing near swenson and twain where they found a bloody knife in the street. the suspected stabber -- identified as 29-year-old gianni raneri -- was caught by the apartment complex's security guard. police say the suspect and the victim had a relationship with

coming.. and there will be civil disobedience as cleveland braces for unrest.. the groups are demanding the grand jury transcripts.. the removal of prosecutor tim mcginty.. and the re-negotiation of the police patrolmen's association contract. the boy was shot and killed outside a rec center in november of 2014. he was playing with a pellet gun when someone called police. a recent f-b-i video analysis shows tamir was drawing the pellet gun from his waist. days of deadly storms in the midwest has resulted in historic flooding in missouri. residents near the mississippi and illinois rivers are packing up and heading to higher ground - abc's elizabeth hur is in st. louis where one river is projected to reach 40 feet. here in st. louis.. along the mississippi river.. you can't go far without running into one of these..

temperatures around midnight in the 38 range and generally calm winds at the the complicating thing gets into atmospheric layers as winds just above the surface (200-400 feet) will likely be stronger overnight which could curtail fireworks on new years. the weather during the first week of the new year will start with a bang as well with some substantial looking storms headed towards southern california and las vegas. las vegas will likely struggle to see much sunshine from saturday on through most of next week with a series of increasingly potent and moisture laden systems push into the desert southwest. these storms are forecast to move in from nearly due west which is a much wetter direction for southern nevada and initial models are saying steady rain could fall basically tuesday night through

levels eventually falling to near 4,000 feet by friday. we'll continue to monitor these systems as the week progresses. new developments on the arrest of the so-called "affluenza teen"... ethan couch will remain behind bars in mexico for now after winning a three-day stay today against deportation. we're also getting our first look at exclusive video obtained by abc news of the teen inside a butcher shop in puerto vallarta his mother -- tonya -- was also spotted in this video across the street from their shabby rental. she has been deported back to the u-s where she now faces up to ten years in prison if convicted of helping her son avoid arrest. the punishment for the teen himself though -- not quite as harsh. sot -- sheriff dee anderson, terrant county, texas // "his case is still under juvenile law. as messed up as it is... he'll probably only be able to sentence him to 120 days actually in jail." ethan couch's appeal could lead to a court process in mexico...

script: bringing a new baby into the world? a life-changing event for parents that will occur an estimated 3.9 million times next year in this country alone. and these days, some women are choosing to give birth outside of the hospital. they represent a small - but growing - proportion of the total. but what are the risks of giving birth outside of the hospital setting? to try and answer this question, researchers looked at data on babies born between 2012 and 2013 in the state of oregon. of the 79,000 births they analyzed, about four percent occurred in homes or birth centers other than the hospital. they found that in both settings, the risk of death or other serious medical issues was very low. however, compared to planned in-hospital birth, out-of-hospital birth was linked to a slightly higher rate of perinatal death - in other words, death during development or in the first month of life. clearly more studies are needed
