the union address on january 12th. new developments on the arrest of bill cosby. we're now hearing from his attorney for the first time since cosby's arrest in pennsylvania yesterday on a charge of aggravated indecent assault. the charge stems from an allegation dating-back more than a decade by a temple university employee. prosecutors say new information led to the felony charge.. only weeks before the statute of limitations was set to expire. cosby's attorneys call it a political maneuver. what we have is the fulfillment of a campaign promise from a prosecutor who used this case and used the current climate about the allegations against my client in order to get into office. cosby has not entered a plea and is set to be back in court january 14th. he faces up to 10 years in prison if convicted. and take a look at the aftermath of the nasty crash! it happened this morning near j street and owens.
