review rates and ensure equity between solar and non-solar consumers. 14:03 gov: there's a very important balance here. you have 17,000 rooftop solar customers. you have 700,000 approximately nv energy customers who are essentially subsidizing that. 13:26:54 scott shaw/go solar: that is absolute hogwash. scott shaw of go solar. 28:15 scott: that is part of the propaganda that's out there. the misnomers of pitting one rate class against another. 10:45 darcy: what are the dollars and cents? how does this actually break down? does it really impact the non-solar customer in a big way? no one seems to be able to give us that dollars and cents answer. gov. right. and i think that, again, it's a very, very complicated math problem. sandoval admits he hasn't done the math. nv energy says it boils down to $1.08 per month that non-solar customers in southern nevada are paying to subsidize their solar neighbors.

police in fairfield, california picked-up dwayne lawson earlier this week. he's accused in the shooting death of che obi eaddy last february near boulder highway and tropicana. lawson is now awaiting extradition to las vegas. also new at six.. opening statements are underway in the trial of a former church pastor accused of sexually assaulting girls in his congregation. 56-year old otis holland was a

in six years.... big bear received -30- inches of snow.... in -48- hours. that means.... a lot of fresh powder.... for the ski resorts! the winter storm knocked out power throughout most of the mountain... this morning... snow summit ran their lifts.... off the back-up generators.... usually used.... to make snow. winter weather advisories are still in effect for the spring mountains and sheep range above 5,000 feet through this afternoon. an additional 1-3 inches of snow is expected on mt. charleston with heavier snow totals possible at higher elevetions. a winter storm warning is in effect for western arizona through this afternoon where 2-5 inches of snow are expected above 4,000 feet. take care driving through any mountain passes since slick road conditions are expected all around the area. the pacific ocean is going to continue to throw storms towards the west coast for the next week or so as our classic el nino pattern really comes into its own. that means las vegas will stay generally cloudy through the weekend with peaks of sunshine here and there and a slight chance for showers on saturday.
