henderson chamber commerce building and the suspect was arrested. it has been more than a month since a ccsd teacher was arrested.. accused of having an inappropriate relationship with a student. but the d-a still hasn't filed charges. now... we are learning this isn't the first time.... "kristy yegge" has been accused of inappropriate behavior. action news reporter.... bryan callahan is live with the story... of a woman who says... she was sexually assaulted by yegge.... several years ago. bryan... we want to make it clear... yegge has not been charged in either incident. but the woman who says she considered yegge a friend before the sexual assault says she is still still dealing with the trauma of the event. 11.05.35.00 "it is shocking, but not surprising." brittany freer recalls her reaction when she heard "kristy yegge" had been arrested... accused of having an inappropriate relationship with a student at veteran's tribute academy. 11.15.50.00 "i thought that i was over it until this came up, and then i realized maybe i wasn't." freer is talking about

assault she say yegge committed on her in 2012. this as she said she went to visit her friend. 11.07.52.00 "once i went over to her house she proceeded to give me prescription drugs, and because i was in a hyper emotional state i took." freer says she fell asleep and awoke to yegge undressing her, but says she didn't have the strength to stop the assault. 11.08.49.00 "because i had taken such a strong combination of drugs, i was unable to do much, and then i remember putting my head down and blacked out after that." freer says she didn't initally report the crime to police. 11.16.54.00 "especially right after it happened, i tried my best to block it out." metro confirmed a report was filed against yegge in 2014, but said they did not pursue charges because of a lack of evidence. minutes before we went on air, we did recieve a statement from yegge's attorney. it reads in part "the fact that metro closed its case without

mother's pomeranian... is speaking to action news.... tonight!! attempted murder suspect..... paul applegate told us.... his version of the story... from behind bars... after we already talked to his mother.... earlier today. action news reporter.... gina lazara joins us in the studio.... with what he had to say... gina? tricia -- applegate's m.o. tonight was deny. deny. deny. despite deputies saying the suspect confessed to trying to gun his neighbors down.... applegate says that's not the case....and that he was on drugs for that confession. "i was high on crack and i was high on meth. i did not do the shooting at all. all i know is i'm an innocent man being in jail." during our exclusive interview with the suspect -- applegate says time and time again.... that he never went to his neighbor's home... he never shot at their house.... he never reloaded his gun.... he never hid in the bushes while doing it... and he was not trying to kill his neighbors. this strong denial comes after the nye county sheriff's office tells us ---applegate confessed to all of that this week!!

effect for western arizona through this afternoon where 2-5 inches of snow are expected above 4,000 feet. take care driving through any mountain passes since slick road conditions are expected all around the area. the pacific ocean is going to continue to throw storms towards the west coast for the next week or so as our classic el nino pattern really comes into its own. that means las vegas will stay generally cloudy through the weekend with peaks of sunshine here and there and a slight chance for showers on saturday. overnight lows have stayed california coast tonight. this video from malibu shows 16 foot waves coming ashore.. and flooding streets. in petaluma.. this truck flipped over trapping a woman in inside her car. rescuers dove into the murky runoff to free her. but tonight.. the biggest concern is more mudslides and take a look at this. a rockslide closed an entrance to yosemite national park.

visitors in 2015...spurring economic development with the downtown revitalization project...and attracting countless new businesses, residents, and investors. at her state of the city address, mayor carolyn goodman announced downtown casinos are financially booming. "youre leading the state 25 percent growth, awesome, thats what we're about" but there's work ahead in the new year. primarily, attracting new residents by improving homeless rates, bettering transportation with project neon, and moving toward total renewable energy. but the biggest problem to tackle...will be safety.
