police have detained nearly 60 suspected isis militants. it all happened this morning at a famous mosque in a historic tourist district. officials have already identified the attacker as a man from saudi arabia who recently entered the country. turkey's president spoke out earlier today.. and now vows to take out isis. (recep tayyip erdogan, president of turkey) "until the terrorist organization is completely destroyed and smashed we will pursue this struggle." 9 germans and 2 south koreans were killed. the state department says it's not aware of any americans among the injured. now to an update on a story we first brought you... as it was breaking at the top of the hour. 10 american sailors are in iranian custody. they were taken after two u-s navy crafts briefly drifted into iranian waters. the two ships were traveling from kuwait to bahrain... when u-s officials lost contact with them. here's what the white house has to say-- (josh earnest, white house press secretary) "we've

but a judge postponed to give his attorney more time to prepare. police arrested collins last month on suspicion of drunk driving...after he crashed his car. collins unexpectedly resigned from the county commission back in august. boulder city is searching for a new police chief! william conger resigned yesterday... right in the middle of that scandal involving the former animal control supervisor. the district attorney is reviewing claims mary jo frazier was improperly euthanizing animals. conger served as the chief of police for three years. a lot of local parents are talking about a big story right now. a district judge has put the brakes on the new education savings accounts.. just weeks before parents were supposed to get thousands of dollars from the program. it's now being challened in two lawsuits. under the voucher program.. parents can use a 5-thousand dollar allowance from the state toward education.. including private school tuition. goveror sandoval responded.. saying the best thing to do now is to leave it up to the state

today...for his pre-trial hearing. he's facing charges of desertion and misbehavior before the enemy. bergdahl disappeared from his military post in afghanistan back in 2009... and was then held by the taliban for five years. he was released in a prisoner exchange for five guantanamo bay detainees in 2014. bergdahl's expected court- martial hearing is set for early august. if convicted, he faces up to five years in prison for desertion and life in prison on
