a dying cold front is continuing to push through california but will get hung up in the sierra dropping the majority of its moisture in the throughout the overnight hours tonight and throughout the day saturday meaning mostly cloudy skies to start the weekend. temperatures will be warmer than the last couple days as some pre-frontal winds kick highs into the low 60s but winds won't be a big issue. a gust to 20 or so is possible but that's about it. the bigger story will be the shot for rain showers saturday night into early sunday morning as the trailing edge of the cold front drags through southern nevada. a mountain's edge home torn apart...

point, a shot was fired, possibly grazing the victim. she wasn't seriously injured and didn't need to go to the hospital. also happening right now. metro is searching for a shooter on the run. this after someone is shot to death at apartment complex near cheyenne and lamb. investigators don't yet know if this was a random attack. an action news update now the pilot on that f-16 fighter jet that crashed in northwest arizona has been presumed dead. the jet was from luke air force base near phoenix. base officials say the pilot was from the taiwanese air force, and was flying alone during training. investigators are still trying to figure out what went wrong. a developing story this afternoon yet another solar company here in the valley is shutting down. premier solar solutions has announced it has closed its henderson office and lay off 66 employees. the move comes after the public utilities commission decided to increase nv energy bills for rooftop solar customers. solarcity and sunrun both cited that decision when they halted sales in nevada, laying off more than 650 employees. unlv has finalized a

nicole brown, a woman in st. petersburg florida is accused of walking out of different cosmetic surgery offices and walking out without paying. authorites say she racked up thousands of dollars worth of procedures.
