good afternoon. i'm rikki cheese. we just got that arrest report for jillian lafave. action news reporter lesley marin is live from valley high school on what actually happened between this teacher and student. we're told it was inside a special education resource classroom here at valley high school where this teacher and this 17 year old student met multiple times-- on occasion even engaging in several lewd acts. today metro released this photo of the teacher-- jillian lafave-- who was on her first year here at valley high school as a special education resource teacher. according to a metro police report-- lafave is the students english and special education teacher-in charge of monitoring his progress. the student-- is believed to have a learning disability. according to records-- lafave and the student started texting back in october-- and have since exchanged 13- thousand texts-- most sexual in nature. the student and la fave both also admitted to kissing on multiple occasion here at the school-- but said they never had sexual intercourse. we did speak to one student

who says there are a lot of rumors swirling about this situation today. channel 13 action news. and now an update on a story we first brought you as it was breaking-- gunfire reported at the naval medical center in san diego. the whole facility was shut down. gates for the facility have just re-opened. but, authorities say they found no evidence of an active shooter. (capt curt jones) "as of right now we have found absolutely nothing to indicate that shots were fired. there are no casualties at this time." it all started at around 8-am... when there were reports of 3 gunshots. everyone in the area was told to run, hide or fight. nearby schools were even locked down. but again, no one was hurt, and no gunman was found. now to a story you'll only see on action news -- a man outraged because it took hours for police to respond when someone broke into his house in mountain's edge. now, we're getting to hear his 9-1-1 calls...which tell a different story!
