say.... vandals are ruining.... a local park! action news michael burton spent the afternoon with neighbors who say... enough is enough. looklive intro: when it comes to playgrounds - chalking up the sidewalk isn't out of the ordinary. but when does it go too far? today, i was directed to a park where some say it has. vo: out in the open - at a park designed for young children - a racial slur for all to see. a few feet away - another inappropriate message written in chalk. the playground is located inside a gated community called "mesa" near mountain's edge parkway and buffalo. parents are extremely upset. they say this isn't the first time they've seen comments that are sexual in nature - hoping the community manager would eventually see it and take care of it. but after seeing the racial slur - they refuse to wait any longer .
