"knowing that the shooter is off the streets will bring some relief and only then will we start to heal." karen brille lost her 16-year-old son - aric - in two-thousand nine -at a house party near charleston and hollywood. police say gang-members were waiting outside of house to rob the party guests - but aric was not only robbed - he was gunned karen says some of the gang-members involved could be fathers now - and may feel her sorrow. "some of you may have children now, and i hope you can imagine our pain and loss. and feel for aric." today - karen announced a one hundred thousand dollar reward for the person who comes forward with information that leads to the arrest and conviction of yhe shooter. to raise the money, she will sell her home. "the day after the person is convicted, we are putting our house up for sale. at closing, we will have a certified check of a hundred thousand dollars." if the person who comes forward has a criminal history - she hopes they will use the money to turn

nevada. saturday night clouds will increase dramatically along with some strong south winds, keeping temperatures mild into sunday morning before rain cools temperatures and holds them in the mid 50s all day. models are still disagreeing over some key terms in this storm but they do agree that rain will be widespread on sunday with some serious cold wind following afterwards. on sunday a very strong arctic low will draw in some deep subtropical moisture from the pacific and intensify over southern nevada. the biggest questions are exactly where the surface low will form since a shift of 100 miles east or west will drastically alter the location of the heaviest rainfall. right now rain looks certain

has been sentenced for securities fraud. peter ortmann was sentenced... after pleading guilty.... in -2- thousand -7-... to -1- count of selling unregistered securities... the victim lost -1- hundred thousand dollars... to ortmann... who's been ordered... to pay that back in restitution. many americans are filing complaints... involving financial service companies. the consumer financial protection bureau says... -60- percent... of the complaints received this year.... deal with debt settlement... and credit repair companies. remember to be careful... about paying any up-front fees... when using these services. good news for the valley's economy. the latest numbers show the local jobless rate continues to trend downward. state officials say the unemployment rate in las vegas fell slightly last month to 6.2 percent. the state's jobless rate also fell to 6.4 percent. the zika virus continues to spread.... causing travel concerns for pregnant women. but what are the chances of being exposed. up next.. we'll tell you if the worries are justified.
