"she was saying help me i'm dying." anna briseno saw the victim screaming for help from her front door and called 911. when police arrived - they found the victim on the floor with a gunshot wound. "i was scared. my first reaction was i thought she fell or something." police say she was shot and killed around 2:30 in the morning - right there in her doorway - she died of her injuries at umc. family and friends were on the scene all morning - in

"she's very outspoken, outgoing, very calm. she never bothered anybody." "i always watched her walk up and down the street. i mean everybody here pretty much keeps to themselves." but - her loved ones tell us something occured earlier that day that may have triggered the shooting. "she was kind of shaken up earlier from my understanding from a lot of the neighbors, and had gotten into an altercation with someone." many believe the shooter came back to settle the score.
