back in the valley.. we had our own rain and wind to deal with. we have team coverage of tonight's winter storm. mahsa saeidi is out tracking the wind and the rain tonight. but first let's check in with meteorologist karla huelga. karla, what are we looking at overnight? ad-lib the winter storm system that brought widespread showers to the are today will continue to bring chances for rain to the valley and mountain snow through early tomorrow morning. gusty conditions will also continue and a wind advisory is in effect from 10pm tonight through 6pm tomorrow evening. expect peak gusts between 45-50 miles per hour for the valley. a winter storm warning is also in effect for the spring mountains and sheep range, along with lincoln county and portions of nye county. our team coverage of the winter

to go by subliminal moto. that's his youtube name. this video is posted there - and it is racking up thousands of views -- right now. subliminal moto says he was going for a group ride with his buddies last night when a little confrontation took place between a biker and another driver. that's when this red truck got involved -- apparently flipping the bikers off. subliminal moto says he got annoyed and decided to confront the men by tapping on the passenger side window. you can see in the go-pro video --- the guys wave a gun at him and cuss him out. "no matter how big and bad you are, or how much weight you lift...there's always somebody that's bigger and badder than you are...that will put you in your place real quick." henderson police are investigating this right now they might issue an arrest warrantfor the man driving the red truck. a hobby shop here in the valley needs your help tracking down a drone thief.

tonight two virginia tech students are under behind bars.. accused of killing a 13 year old girl. police say 18 year old david eisenhauer is facing kidnapping and murder charges. he is an engineering major and track star you are taking a look at a profile by our abc affiliate in baltimore. investigators say eisenhauer knew the girl.. and used their relationship to lure her out of her bedroom wednesday night. more a thousand volunteers searched for the teenager for days on end. sarah bradbury friend i didn't think that would happen to her because she was always the cutest little thing a second student - sophomore natalie keeper - has been charged as an accessory. she is accused of helping dispose of the body. tonight both students are being held without bail. right now.. police in alabama are looking for a couple suspected in a crime spree across three cities . this morning the pair reportedly committed - or tried

robberies within two hours. police say the suspects abducted a woman at this home.... and also kidnapped a hotel clerk. both of them were released unharmed. investigators say both the man and woman are armed and dangerous. back at home. north las vegas police are investigating a deadly accident . a pedestrian was hit and killed by a driver near camino al norte and lone mountain this morning. the man was rushed to u-m-c where he later died from his injuries. police say he was not in a marked crosswalk at the time of the accident. the driver did stay on the scene, no word yet on if any charges will be filed. an action news update tonight on a house fire near carey and belmont. we have learned that a man who was trapped inside the home while it was on fire has died. the fire broke out yesterday morning. crews pulled him from the home and rushed him to umc, where he was intially listed in critical condition.

you're hearing that right. this video shows a civilian pulling over a police officer in florida. the driver says she saw the officer speeding, but the officer didn't agree. medics....and was being questioned by police. the florida fish and wildlife conservation commission is taking care of the monkeys speaking of animals... zookeepers in oklahoma city are heartbroken over the sudden death of a beloved asian elephant. 37-year-old chai was moved from a zoo in seattle to oklahoma last may - along with another asian elephant. animal rights groups tried to stop the transfer. they insisted a sanctuary in california would be a better, because of the weather. chai was found dead in the elephant yard yesterday morning. tara henson oklahoma city zoo & botanical garden "this is a surprise. and a shock. she was normal behaving yesterday. it's really hard for us. we think of these animals as part of our family." the rest of the elephant herd seems to be okay. chai is the second elephant to die at the oklahoma zoo in the last four months. a viral infection killed a four-year-old asian elephant back in october. right now the wind is blowing
