frightening moments out at red rock canyon this afternoon. a man is found dead out at sandstone quarry trail. right now, authorities think he died from a medical episode. a developing story tonight a robbery near eastern and tropicana. police are still piecing together the details...but this all started around 11 last night. the victim was shot and is now in the hospital...but is expected to be okay. the shooter is still on the run right now a 13 action news update on a hepatitis c exposure case here in the valley. the nevada supreme court has scheduled april 5th for appeals in the case against former las vegas doctor dipak desai. he was convicted of second-degree murder along with 26 other charges... ....but his attorneys are arguing that he didn't get a fair trial. desai is curently serving 18- years to life for murder.. neglect and insurance fraud. prosecutors say he was re-using syringes on different patients at his endoscopy clinic in 2007. several people contracted hepatitis-c as a result..

here in nevada. the las vegas review-journal is endorsing him for the states republican caucus. that takes place february 23. the review-journal says they chose to back rubio because he is concerned about key nevada issues, including federal land use policies and immigration. some important lane closures to tell you about before your morning commute tomorrow. the airport connector project will reduce the number of travel lanes on the 215 between sunset road and warm springs for the next 15 months. the entire project is expected to be finished in the fall of 2017 the big game 10-k race took place this morning in downtown las vegas. runners came from 9 different countries and 23 different states. it all kicked off with a costume contest followed by a kids fun run. people could also compete in a 5k run or the big game 10k. afterwards there was a big game viewing party at the bunkhouse saloon.
