it's a way to bring back your youth in no time. radio frequency is the state of the art treatment available in the valley. it offers no pain and no surgery. >> here with more is lindsay kay from laser med solutions. good morning. >> good morning. >> everybody wants to look and feel great, and you can help them achieve that. >> we can. so we use radio frequency, which is heat and radio waives, and we're using a noninvasive device called pelleve. what this does is this heats that deep layer of the skin, the derma, from the inside outward. it's all that heat that built up in that deep layer, this is scientifically proven to stimulate the growth of brand-new collagen, so it reduces your fine lines, and any
9:17 am
works to tighten up the skin in the area that we're treating. >> even though it's a lot of heat, it's heat just for the skin, it doesn't go beyond -- you don't become bacon. >> no, no pain. no pain involved with this, and no down time or recovery time which is why our patients are loving it, because they get to come in. takes about 45 minutes for the session if you're treating the complete face. and you can apply make up right after that. body? >> we can. so we can treat the complete face, the neck. which is going to be the most popular area, one of the first signs of aging that we do receive. so that's going to be the most popular area. we can treat areas of the body with this device. so that's really exciting that we can tighten up the skin in the area that you want to treat. >> what are some of the big areas that you see around the body, beyond the face obviously? >> so one of the main areas is, of course, going to be the thighs, or the stomach, just because if you had a baby, you got loose skin in that area we're going to work to tighten
9:18 am
if you suffer from cellulite in the thighs or loose skin, you know, obviously as we age everything starts to drop. so by tightening up the skin and reducing cellulite in the area we're getting really great results. >> you mentioned you've seen great results. let's take a look at pictures. you can describe it to us. >> what's really exciting with this is we do treat the face and the neck, but the really exciting part is this is one of the only devices on the market that can really treat the eye area. >> wow. >> we can treat crows feet. we can do dark circles, we can do an eye lift with it. so this is one of those noninvasive treatments where we're able to actually treat the eye area. this is exciting. >> i think a lot of people think the only way to get to the eye area is something like botox. >> and we don't necessarily want to do that. >> it's more invasive. the nice part about this, most patients do a series of four sessions where they come once every four weeks, and the nice part about this is results last up to two years.
9:19 am
treatment of pelleve, it's actually producing at least six months of brand-new collagen for the patient. >> as you mentioned you don't have to -- any down time. >> there is no down time with this. so obviously you know you see some results after your first session. that improves month to month all the way up to 12 months. you will see a difference with only four sessions, from six months up to 12 months, when you're not even in the clinic anymore. >> excellent. where were you guys located? >> we're located at washington and rainbow. so we're at 777 north rainbow boulevard, and we're suite 200. >> awesome. >> who would be a good candidate for pelleve? >> that's the nice part of this. male or female you can be 25 up to 80, you know, age is definitely not a factor in this. we develop wrinkles from dehydration, smoking, stress, so many factors of why we get the fine lines or the deep folds on our face. and we're able to treat you no >> awesome. as well. >> we do.
9:20 am
you can give us a call, but you have to call us today. and we'll give you all the information that you need on the actual device on pelleve and what treatment would be like for you. but we'll give you 40% off four or six sessions of pelleve. >> as you mentioned you get the best results when you do the entire package. >> yes. if you're a little bit younger, if you're in your early 20s you can get away with doing one or two sessions. most of our patients are from 35 up to 80. and you're going to want to do the series of four sessions where you come once a month. >> excellent. if people want to learn more where do they go? >> they can go to our website, but the best thing to do is talk to a medical assistant and give us a call directly and we can give you all the information. >> excellent. >> thank you so much. >> thank you for having me. >> again, if you call today and book an appointment, you will get 40% off four sessions of pelleve. that is today only. laser med solutions is located on rainbow south of washington. for more information, call the

9:25 am
>> absolutely. we're excited. the disney artists, i think you know that we just opened a and all the disney artists are together in one place, one gallery. these are a couple of suggestions that we have for valentine's day of our romantic pictures. this is called first dance, and it's been very popular with weddings and anniversaries, and i think hopefully valentines. >> you might be the first voice to -- this is well done. >> thank you so much. i've been painting my whole life. i used to paint on the streets of new york to pay for my rent when i was going to school. >> how did you become the voice of -- >> well, i was a broadway actress, and they were looking for broadway people for that film. they wanted that flare, and i auditioned with 500 other actresses. >> wow. >> so you were still painting? >> yes, that was always my hobby. >> how many pieces do you think you've done over the last decade? >> oh, wow.
9:26 am
>> yes, over a hundred. >> and you work mostly with what type of -- >> i love oil, but i actually recently used water based oils, where this actually -- the smell -- it hurts your throat. the oil is really bad. this is an acrylic, which is one of the favorites. everyone loves -- i mean it -- perfect present. >> and you have a painting over there, too. >> yes. yes. that's one of my favorites. >> waiting for the waiter who has yet to bring their food. >> exactly. >> called i'm hungry. >> yes, i like that idea. >> there was a wish granted just last week. >> it's so unique to make-a-wish. magical memories got involved with us and they helped us reveal to one of our wish kids that her wish is coming true. so that was really special. and she actually -- >> we are in love with her.
9:27 am
it was great to highlight her wish and get them involved on that. >> i got to hang out with her and seeing her little face. and so much so that she came back the next day. i think she was at the gallery for seven hours, sitting on the floor playing with the ladies that work in the shop, just really wonderful. we're all attached. >> and you are giving back to them. in what way? >> we are -- they're donating 10% of their profits of all their profits off the top to make-a-wish foundation. >> that's phenomenal. >> so we're really excited about that. >> thank you. >> and that's what it's about, the kids. >> trying times. >> exactly. so these wishes really create lasting memories with the families, and it's really because of the support of our community and people like magical memories that we are able to grant wishes. >> it's incredible how every

9:29 am
>> he's -- i was so honored i got to work with him before he passed on, i'm a huge fan. >> incredible. if we want to give back we can obviously go to magical memories. if we want to give back directly -- >> we're always looking for volunteers. you can visit our website. so you'll see our featured wish story is a disney story. >> that's awesome. >> thank you so much. >> thank you for having us. >> thank you for having us. >> help magical memories make wishes come true with disney fine art located at town square. for the month of february they will donate 10% of proceeds to make-a-wish southern nevada. for more information head to the listed. stick around, more on deck including what's heating up on the view. >> you're watching "the morning blend." stay there. centurylink prism tv has all your favorite channels, tons of live sports, and more. watch when and where you want with advanced features like our wireless set-top box, whole home dvr, and prism on the go.

9:32 am
one-third, of people in town under water. i just saw an article last week or the week before we're back to number one for foreclosures. >> wow. >> and we'll probably stay there for a while, just because we have a lot of people underwater. and you're seeing a trend of people that did modify their mortgage, usually the payment sticks for the first five years, that payment is now going up, and that can affect people so you're seeing a lot of different things in the market. >> you say that people can sale their house and buy it back. how does that work? >> if you -- when we work with the nonprofit they're approved. it's a national program that is available in certain states. we worked on this program for years, to really make it viable in nevada. and you're allowed to -- you sell to the nonprofit. they will lease it back to you and you can buy it back from one year to four years later. >> and lenders have to participate in the program. who is participating and why would they participate?
9:33 am
to participate. but they're incentive to participate. what's called the community redevelopment act, so a federal act that any major bank gets credit when they basically investing in the community and things like that. and this qualifies under that act. >> makes sense for them to participate. >> all the major banks, bank of america, wells fargo, all those type of banks love to participate, and actually short sale goes quicker because they are participating and it's with a nonprofit. >> how much does it cost a homeowner. >> it costs them zero. part of the partnership with the nonprofit we said we will not charge the homeowner a fee. so they pay nothing upfront. and it costs them nothing to even ultimately they pay us nothing in fees, which is great for them. and then the debt forgiveness act, the mortgage debt forgiveness act was extended through 2016.
9:34 am
shortfall is, if you owe 300, you sell for to hundred, that $100,000s counts as income. well that is -- it's exempt. you don't pay taxes on it. so you don't have to pay taxes -- >> that's $20,000, $30,000. >> correct. it's going to push most people to another bracket, and then taxes are high. >> your bracket would go to 35%. >> correct. so if you're making $50,000 a year, and you get that income of 100, it looks like you're making $150,000 a year. >> your taxes might be as much as you made that year. >> correct. >> wow. >> and so you're exempt. because they extended the mortgage debt forgiveness act. so you don't have a tax penalty, which is great. you don't have any out of pocket money upfront, and you get to sell your house. >> this would be a great time for a homeowner to do this and they can reap the benefits. >> absolutely. you need to close escrow before
9:35 am
so you have to -- you want to act quickly. short sales take about 90 to 120 days, and normal circumstances, and they can take up to six to nine months depending on your situation. >> what do you have to do to qualify for this? >> you call us. we're going to get a budget from you. we get different things, and we present all the options for you. you may look at this option and say i would rather do this or that. and you might qualify for a modification. that may be a better option for you. >> exactly. >> and frankly, if you're not far enough underwater this program doesn't make sense for a lot of people either. we go through every option with you, and you get to decide what works best for you. >> this is the best program for people that bought right at the peak. >> it is. if you bought anywhere from 2003 to 2007, it's -- >> thousands of people did. >> correct. and depending on where you live, you know, summerlin has come back very well, but other parts
9:36 am
>> going to take a while to catch up. let's talk about your office and the other services that you also provide. >> the only other service we provide we do personal injury. we do advertise, so you may see billboards of my wife all over town. >> i saw two of them. >> we have somebody good looking in the office to go on the billboard. it helps. we do that. and then we help people with short sales. >> awesome. great having you, as always. want more information, you can check out that website. >> thank you for having me back>> to learn more about the program and jamie's services go to the website or right there on your screen or call the number listed. they're located on saint rose parkway in henderson. on ktnv.com you can find so many great stories of what makes the valley a special place to live. >> you check on sections and click positively lv, from

9:39 am
when you want the real deal come see neil. >> obviously john you're in the shop, as well, and you're a coin expert. when people come to you to buy coins what should they look for? >> you have to determine what level of quality you wish to pay for and what kind of asset protection you're looking for. inspeed of neil making me feel like i traded coins with moses, they didn't even have coins then, okay? they traded by weight. >> okay. >> hence -- how is that for lead in? the 100-ounce bar trades by weight. >> oh, my goodness. i don't know if i can -- this is super -- oh, my goodness. >> and these trade strictly by weight. this is a great way to protect your assets as part of your portfolio.

>> if you want something more divisible -- >> if you wanted a chip. exactly. >> in the middle ages and beyond that they would take a coin and break it in half. >> no kidding. >> they would break it into quarters, then break it in eighths. the eighth of a coin was called a bit. two of those was two bits. that's where we get the phrase two bits. >> wow. >> i know you were just craving that. >> now we know. >> the computer is eight bits and a byte. >> that could be the same situation. and really there is so much history that goes behind this and so much value, as well. >> that's what keeps me excited about this. you get to a certain age and you don't care about much. and you -- >> okay. >> it goes by the wayside. when kids start collecting, they start usually with one of these books. >> yes. >> right? >> i love getting -- >> yeah, and then they start collecting and can find the
