was actually trying to cross the intersection not too long ago i had to wait several minutes for a break in traffic because no cars would yield for > an action news update now on a deadly crash-- metro police say the driver at fault died of his injuries yesterday. officers say victor sandoval was likely driving drunk and speeding with a stolen car, when he ran a red light and hit another driver. that driver, 43-year-old jenio trani eugenio died on-scene. the crash happened last month at rainbow and spring mountain. and a sad update on the search for a missing man -- north las vegas police say richard boisy junior was found dead, but they do not suspect foul play. no details were given on when he was found dead, or how he died. he was reported missing thursday. the fight over the solar net metering rates' hike continues. a public utilities commission meeting has too many people in attendance... that many have to stand in the parking lot! the meeting today was about grandfathering in

lower rates. coming up, 13 action news reporter marissa kynaston takes us inside that meeting. this just in -- all chipotles around the valley just re-opened...after a nationwide closure. they were closed for 4-hours for a food safety meeting... employees learned about an updated food safety program put in place last month. the move comes after that e-coli outbreak last year that sickened about 500-people. but again, the locations were back open at the top of the hour. coming up at 3-30, we'll delve deeper into their safety meeting. breaking news on the zika virus--- the centers for disease control and prevention just announced... they've increased emergency operations to level 1. it's the first time they're operating at this level since that ebola outbreak back in 2014. meantime, president obama has asked congress for nearly 2-billion dollars to help fight the virus. right now, 50-americans are infected. coming up at 3-30, we'll have much more on the fight against zika.

jokes." the tuscon sheriff's department is investigating. breaking right now-- the wife of a senior isis leader has just been charged in the death of kayla mueller. you'll remember mueller was held hostage in syria for 2-years. she was captured back in 2013. mueller was a human rights activist, and humanitarian aid worker from arizona. now to a consumer alert from contact 13-- if you drive a mazda s-u-v, you'll want to listen up! the automaker is recalling some suvs because the fuel filler pipe can rupture in a rear crash and cause a gas leak and possible fire. the recall affects more than 200-thousand cx-5 suvs from 2014 and 2015. so far, no reports of any fires or injuries. make sure to take your car into a dealership to get it fixed. some veterans who served aboard the u-s-s nevada during world war two will be in town this week to be honored.
