council which voted to push back against the settlement reached with the justice department. city leaders want to amend the agreement which they say the city can't afford.. but the feds won't budge. this case now goes to trial unless the city and the d-o-j can reach a settlement. another police death that captivated the nation is heading to trial. a federal grand jury is hearing evidence in the death of eric garner. garner died in 2014 after a new york city police officer put him in a chokehold. federal prosecutors presented evidence yesterday to a grand jury. that officer has not been charged in garner's death. developing here at home-- clark county school district is being sued by the parents of two students, who claim they were molested by their teacher jeremiah mazo. the lawsuit claims ccsd didn't do enough to protect them. the students, ages 9 and 10... say the former hayden elementary school music teacher would ask them to sit on his lap after class. one girl says mazo told her she

another school if she told anyone. mazo is currently serving 15 to 60 years in prison... after pleading guilty to lewdness with a minor new information on the former somerset academy teacher arrested for having innappropriate contact with his students. according to his arrest report, william crawford is accused of kissing two 12-year-old girls back in 20-12. but the crimes weren't reported until 20-14. that's when police started investigating. over the next few years, they interviewed multiple students about crawford...and then finally to crawford last month. they then arrested him for lewdness with a minor. now to a 13 action news exclusive: we're hearing from the man facing charges for having sex on the high roller. phillip panzica says he was out on the strip after a fight with his girlfriend where he met 21-year-old chloe scordianos. they eventually ended up in a cabin all to themselves on the high roller. panzica blames what happened on alcohol. mild for this time of year. overnight low temperatures will be in the mid 40s once again with clear skies overhead for the 6th night in a row. temperatures will dip slightly through the weekend as a weak low pressure system moves through southern idaho and northern nevada bringing some slightly cooler air through the higher levels of the atmosphere. temperatures will be about 2-4 cooler than this past week but that'll still keep las vegas in the low 70s. another massive area of high pressure shoves in behind that to kick temperatures back up into the low and middle 70s. farther out in the forecast period a stronger system is forecast for wednesday of next week with temperatures kicked slightly warmer just before it moves in and slightljust behind it. no rain or really cold weather is expected for the next 7 days. just in to 13 action news--
