say c- c-s-d did essentially nothing to protect their students against an accused child molester. after jeremiah mazo was investigated in 2008 for innapropriately touching children -- and cleared of any charges -- eglet says -- the district should have done their own investigation. instead -- he says -- c-c-s-d secretly transferred mazo to a different school without telling anyone....where he met even more of his victims. now -- eglet says -- more parents are coming forward saying their children are victims of mazo's too. burglars is working its way across the valley. they've eluded arrest for months.. and police say they're responsible for break-ins at more than 75 businesses. 13 action news reporter marissa kynaston talked with police today about what they're calling the "night owl burglaries." take vo they only come at night-- breaking into small fast food restaurants and drive throughs-- and taking what they can. but after 75 breakins-- police have given thw string of burglaries a name-- its called the night owl series. police said theyve made a couple arrests-- but theyre still looking for these two men. they say the burglaries arent just affecting the businesses-- but the whole community. take sot nick farese, ltn northwest area command these businesses whether they're chain restaurants or individually owned mom and pop type establishments, they incur costs with this and a lot of these burglaries, our perpetrators are causing more financial damage than they're even getting in the theft that they're taking tag coming up on action news at six-- hear why these two suspects are so

at "the love ranch". police in north las vegas need your help.... finding this man who they say.... robbed a convenience store. it happened.... near lake mead and losee..... when witnesses say..... the man approached the counter with a gun and demanded money. he then.... took off..... with about 9-hundred-dollars in cash. if you have any information... you're asked to call north las vegas police.... right away. a georgia police officer has died after a shooting this morning at an apartment where he was helping to serve a search warrant for drugs. when officers entered the apartment the suspects ran out the back door where more officers were waiting. that's when one of the suspects opened fire on the officer. another officer returned fire.. hitting the suspect. who is now in critical condition. the city of cleveland is apologizing to the family of tamir rice after they received a 500-dollar invoice for the ambulance used to rush the boy to the hospital. the city has now withdrawn the invoice.. but the family's attorney sdays it amounts to harassment.

you can see a man clutching the tip of his boat.. which is mostly submerged. this happened in the mediterranean.. off the coast of turkey. the boat took on too much water during bad weather. fortunately, the man wasn't hurt. some newly released dash-cam video from oklahoma shows a state trooper being hit by an s-u-v last month. watch as the trooper walks along a cable barrier toward the scene of another accident when the suv driver loses control.. apparently from a patch of ice.. and swerves into the median. police edited the video at the instant the suv hit the trooper. he's still recovering from leg and head injuries. the s-u-v driver was not cited. a local food pantry is broken into nearly a dozen times... and now... they're calling on you... our viewers... to help catch the culprit!!! action news anchor.... lesley marin is live...
