"somerset academy" students may remember this teacher... william crawford .... who taught at the north las vegas campus.... for -3- months... in -2- thousand -12-. he was arrested this week. 13 action news reporter michael burton uncovered sworn statements from his accusers. the investigation began in june - twenty fourteen when a father and his 14- year-old daughter went to the north las vegas police department - claiming that her former band teacher - william crawford - kissed her on the lips twice in twenty-twelve when he still worked at somerset. she also said he held her hand once - during a group trip to roberto's tacos. she even admitted to calling him "dad" - because her dad was in the airforce and not usually around at home. she told investigators - there was another female - who they later interviewed. she told them crawford instructed her into a closet near the band room and tickled her - causing her to slap his hand off.

she would occasionally catch him looking down her shirt - and there was one time when he poked her buttocks with a pencil. the principal of the school told police she was unaware of these incidents - but fired mr. crawfood for punching a hole into a cabinet. police weren't notified of theses incidents until twenty fourteen and didn't locate crawford until this january. when they interviewed him - he admitted that he hugged a lot of students but he denied ever holding a student's hand, kissing one, or tickling one. he also denied poking anyone's buttocks - but investigators still found probable cause to put him in handcuffs. michael burton - 13 action news. right now... north las vegas police need your help finding a man.... who went missing from his home!!! according to family members... -87- year-old.... lester clark went missing near cheyenne and civic center drive.... nearly -2- weeks ago. his family says... he suffers.... from dementia and high blood pressure... and...

13 month old rhodesian ridgeback for sale in henderson. a lot of people took to social media-- concerned about his health-- take video so i went to petland in henderson this morning-- to check it out myself-- and took this cell phone video. animal control determined he was thin-- but healthy. but a local veterinarian disagrees-- saying the puppy is severely underweight-- and shouldnt be on display. a live look outside right now at a clear evening in our valley. police in glendale have now confirmed.... it was a murder-suicide. two -15- year old students were found dead of single gunshot wounds..... in an isolated area.... of "independence high school". police say... a note was found.. and... the girls appear to have been in a relationship. no other students were hurt. this week has been plagued with violence.... against police officers. across the country... in just a few days... -5- officers have been shot and killed... in the line of duty.... bringing the total for the year to -8-. a colorado sheriff's deputy died.... after being shot.... monday. two sheriff's deputies were shot and killed wednesday.... in maryland... followed by another officer

henderson. a dog rescued from an animal shelter returned the favor..... by alerting his human to danger,,,, in the middle of the night. "carl" was adopted.... back in october... his owner... drew... says... for the first -3- months... he didn't even know..... if carl could bark.... because he was so calm and quiet. until one night... drew says.... carl was acting strange all day... restless and pacing. hours later... carl woke drew up.... from his sleep. temperatures will fall by 2-4 for sunday with some stronger north winds along for the ride. wind advisories are possible for the colorado river valley and lake mead where gusts to 40mph are possible but are unlikely for the las vegas valley as wind gusts will likely peak around 20-25mph sunday into monday. those winds are a product of another high pressure system which is moving into the area and will be directly overhead tuesday. expect highs by then to be back into the low to mid 70s helped out by the stronger winds overnight which will keep temperatures very mild. wednesday will likely be the warmest day of the coming week with some gusty winds expected late in the day. those winds will work to push temperatures into the mid and upper 70s ahead of an upper level system which will bring slightly cooler air to the
