bail has been set for the hit and run driver who killed a 2 year old girl last weekend. daniel garcia-martinez was arrested yesterday in the death of evelyn green. 13 action news reporter david schuman is live at her growing memorial with what neighbors are saying about the arrest. the tragic crash happened almost a week ago and this memorial to evelyn green is still going strong. daniel garcia-martinez is charged with a felony for not stopping at the scene of a fatal accident and his bail is one million dollars. evelyn green was a 2 year old playing in the street last sunday when garcia martinez reportedly hit and killed her in a white windowless van. greens mother vicki told 13 action news he pulled over smelling of alcohol and left before police got there. garcia martinez's neighbors say he's a good guy who was caught in the wrong place at the wrong

inside the home was shot. he was taken to sunrise hospital and is in critical condition. 3 kids were also home at the time. thankfully they were not hurt. authorities say it does not look like this was a random home invasion. they are trying to find a man and a woman right now. the man is described as having short blonde hair, possibly shaved. nevada department of corrections says an inmate has died. this is mark clewis. he was serving a life sentence at lovelock correctional center for grand larceny. the 65-year-old died at reno hospital last night. an autopsy will be performed to determine the exact cause of death. las vegas fire and rescue crews responded to two separate fires last night. investigators say both happened inside vacant buildings. the first fire happened at a home near rainbow and alexander. the second one was inside a vacant apartment building downtown - near mesquite and stewart. people were seen taking off right after the fires started.
