get out!! but not this guy. brent mcfarlane wanted to try and put out the fire by himself! his friend's daughter came up and told him something was burning in the kitchen.... apparently it was a pot on the stove. so brent looked for a fire extinguisher.... couldn't find one. ran outside --- grabbed a garden house -- came back in the house -- and started spraying!! when the fire department did arrive -- they commended brent for being so brave. but they also called him dumb!! they said he could have passed out from smoke inhalation. and that it's never a good idea to spray water on a fire started by oil. brent mcfarlane "i just kept spraying it an out butted to i was afraid that if the house caught on fire....cause these are duplexes...like two together. i was afraid that if it spead - it was gonna go to our neighbors house." the fire never ended up spreading to the neighbors home. the damage stayed in the kitchen. and no one was injured in the fire. reporting live gina lazara 13

is upgraded to stable condition that's according to the family. the suspects are still out there. police say they are looking for a man and a woman. they allegedly broke into the home yesterday morning on west atlantic near water street authorities say this does not look like a random attack. one person's behind bars..accused of nearly killing a man. metro says there was a shooting around 12:30 this morning outside the "deja vu adult emporium." that's near tropicana and arville. the victim is in the hospital with non- life threatening injuries.

the shooting. developing now.. two men are in custody.. accused of shooting a police officer in the head. now police say they are looking for a third person who may have been involved. according to investigators the suspects robbed this convenience store late last night in clarksdale, mississippi. when the officer showed up, the men shot him, point-blank in the face.. and just left him there. corporal derrick couch is said to be in the hospital in "very critical" condition. new tonight.. police are looking for the person n ho planted a bomb near the airport in albuquerque, new mexico. investigators say a mechanic found it attached to a rental car. a police bomb squad had to disable the device. this didn't affect any flights and everything is now back to normal at the airport. officials say they are trying to track down the last person who rented the car. bernie sanders hit the campaign trail today in las vegas... as we get closer to the nevada caucuses next weekend.
