>> i couldn't be more proud to be part of a culture here at tennessee that is truly connected and bonded. >> reporter: 16 head coaches coming forward together to defend their school's reputation against allegations of sexual harassment made in a lawsuit sweeping national headlines. >> to think that the university is not treating women fairly is totally not true. >> reporter: at least six women disagree. they're suing the university claiming it created a hostile environment for women protecting male athletes by acting with deliberate indifference in its response to incidents of sexual assault. the suit focuses on five recent cases. but one paragraph in the 64-page complaint refers to a 20-year-old allegation against super bowl champion quarterback peyton manning. back in 1996, a female trainer at the school accused manning of sexually assaulting her by putting his genitals in her face

denies, though he did settle out of court. >> it's involving one of the sports. it's a story incredibly potentially damaging to peyton manning. >> reporter: the university's coaches are concerned about the damage the lawsuit could mean to their current athletes. >> i think it's unfair that a lot of these individuals that don't go to parties, that have never touched a drop of alcohol. >> reporter: bazi kanani, abc news, washington. >> and butch jones, the head coach there, says it's being used, the lawsuit is being used against them for recruiting purposes. it affects a lot of women coming forward. a case like this can have such country at a local level. >> and ramifications for the university. manning wrote about the incident in his book, says he simply was caught mooning another athlete and said it was crude but harmless. the story.

but over the past ten years, the killings have reached a crisis level, skyrocketing by nearly 5,000%. >> now conservationists think they've finally found their silver bullet. our friend t.j. holmes has the story from south africa. >> reporter: i'm on patrol with rangers at the oldest game reserve in africa. armed poachers come after a rhino every night on these grounds. but tonight, the rangers have air support. this is the latest attempt to combat the killing of rhinos in south africa. the project is called air shepherd, drones with infrared cameras patrol the air and send back images in real time to a mobile command center where a team monitors them. look closely. those white dots, that's me and the rangers on patrol. but if a poacher is spotted, the drone team can tell the rangers where to intercept. south africa is home to over 80% of the world's rhino population. but they're facing extinction in

coveted horns. the high demand comes from asia where the horns are believed to have medicinal powers. this man says he's heard from friends that it can cure diseases. he mixes up the horn and puts it in a drink. >> there is no scientific proof that rhino horn has any medicinal benefits. but people firmly believe that rhino horn does have the attributes that it's said to have. you know, it's the same as telling a christian jesus christ doesn't exist. >> reporter: rhino poaching has reached unprecedented levels in south africa. ten years ago, 25 were poached. the number last year, 1175. i met with a former poacher who asked us not to show his face. through a translator he says he's killed at least 50 rhinos and says he did it to support his family. did you ever feel bad for what you were doing, for killing these animals? he says at times i would feel

had to deal with more than just crazy long lines... there were even some unexpected visitors rallying for their favorite candidate. we'll get you caught up all the caucus day drama-- but first let's start with dayna who's tracking what happened overnight. breaking overnight... metro's armor unit and firefighters were out for hours and hours investigating a suspicious device in north las vegas. officers tell us around 10 last night, an employee from union pacific railroad noticed an item that looked out of place and suspicious. armor task force came out to check out the scene near tropical parkway and lamb. after a few hours the item was determined to be non-hazardous. a bicycle rider is recovering this morning.. after being hit by a car. this happened around 11-30 near eastern and fremont. metro says the bike rider was at fault, because they were not in a crosswalk and didn't have any lights or reflective gear. the rider was hurt, but is expected to be okay. high pressure has taken over the valley once again and
