but she didn't. smoke from the fire near nellis and harmon could be seen for miles around. 13 action news reporter marissa kynaston is there live. marissa. earlier this afternoon-- this street was lined with fire trucks-- and neighbors say several people were watching the flames from here on the sidewalk. but they say-- nobody stopped the woman from running inside. holy cow, i hope nobody is hurt people driving by the fire were shocked at how high the flames were-- and how thick the smoke was. but the woman living in this burning home-- didnt run out of the flames-- she ran into them. neighbors say she wanted to save her two dogs. the dogs were able to make it out ok-- but the woman got trapped-- and by the time fire crews got the scene-- she was already gone. i guarantee you, the way the

that went viral. contact 13 investigative reporter stephanie zepelin is looking into this story a lot of you asked us to investigate. stephanie. i met romeo today and he seems like a normal little puppy. but suzette and her husband said that certainly wans't the case when they brought him home in mid-january. this is what romeo was like when they took him home from henderson petland. they said he was skinny and much less playful. the vet for petland told them he was underweight but ok....which is the same thing they said about rudy...the dog in the photo that raised a huge outcry. suzette said when they took romeo to their vet they found out he was underweight, weak, and had kennel cough and an ear infection. now she doubts the quality of care at petland 12.48.08 i think to them it's just all about money and prices 10 they treat those dogs like just a dollar sign 12 not an actual living being 16 petland sent us a statement, saying in part: "petland henderson is a locally owned and operated franchise business
