siri's. the suspect.. 38-year old kiley grayson.. stayed on the scene until police arrived. he was arrested on an open murder charge. police say the victims were both cooks at a sister property and were eating together before the shooting. a woman and an inmate are facing charges for trying to smuggle drugs into a prison. prison officials say 21-year-old keondre ridley was trying to deliver 27-grams of meth to inmate mustafa kyles last week at the high desert state prison. ridley is now behind bars on 25- thousand dollar bail. kyles is serving 36-to-120-months for robbery and possession of stolen property. state lawmakers continue to look into ways to split up.... the clark county school district.... in an effort to boost student performance. but today... the superintendent....pat skorkowsky says... the district has it's own plan... moving forward. 13 action news reporter.... marissa kynaston has more on the plans....

the superintendent held his state of the district address today at this high school behind me-- he says the district has plans to expand kindergarten and early childhood education. take vo that means-- their goal is for every student in clark county to have a full day kindergarten experience. its all in an effort to level the playing field for students-- by the time they get to elementary school-- hopefully kickstarting thw rest of their education. the superintendent says if they start in kindergarten-- other goals-- like increasing the reading levels-- and increasing the graduation rate-- will be more achievable. take sot superintendent skorkowsky 14:17:52:29 it's important to expand that and ensure that regardless of what community you live in that an early childhood experience is there for all students so that every student is leveled the playing field by the time they enter kindergarten 14:18:05:06 marissa tag other goals for the school district moving forward-- increasing parent involvement-- increasing career increasing student safety. breaking news three car accident near jones & alta

cursing at him. the secret service has not responded to a request for comment. an emotional day in court for sports reporter erin andrews.. who testified against marriott hotels and the man convicted of secretly recording video of her undressing in her hotel room. sot erin andrews "everybody thought i was doing it for publicity attention and that ripped me apart." andrews testified about the emotional distress she's been through since the video went viral 8-years ago. her convicted stalker.. michael david barrett.. recorded andrews through a peephole he made between their rooms. he then posted the video online which was then watched by millions of people. sot erin "i was just screaming that i was naked all over the internet and i didn't know what it was ...." andrews says she's been battling depression ever since. she's suing the hotel chain for 75- million dollars. quiet and warm weather will continue for the next several days as high pressure remains in control of the forecast. however, chances are on the horizon for the weekend and the start to next week. in the short term, high temps will remain around 80 through friday with cloud cover in and out throughout those days. by friday we'll get an extra push of clouds as a weak system pushes through the area. on saturday, breezy winds will highs will drop by a few degrees on saturday to the mid and upper 70s. by sunday we'll be in the windy category, high will drop a few more degrees and chances for rain will come into the forecast sunday evening. chances for rain will continue into monday, along with windy conditions and high temps will drop to the upper 60s.
