a prestigous school in new england ... is making a huge payment to dozens of former students! the money is to settle claims of sexual abuse at st. george's school in rhode island. the allegations span 30 years... from the 1970's to as early as 2000. neither the school or the victims are disclosing the amount of money payed out. a new road sign in north carolina has drivers stumped. "what do you want me to do? zip up my pants?" this new sign is called the zipper merge sign.. to help with traffic congestion during heavy travel times. researchers say the traffic merge can reduce traffic jams by up to 50- percent. when drivers see the zipper.. they're supposed merge like a zipper by using both lanes. michigan and minnesota are also using the zipper merge and say

i walk. the homicide rate among transgender americans hit an all-time high in 2015. the supreme court blocks a court order allowing a transgender student to use the boys' bathroom. is it an indicator of what the justices might decide in the future? todd walker is looking at the ruling, and what may happen next: pkg full= -- todd looklive cam -- this is just a temporary ruling but it already has both or calling the decision disappointing. -vo cover-- the supreme court agreed to block a lower court order.. which allowed a transgender boy in virginia to use the boy's and justice stephen breyer said the block would preserve the "status quo" until the supreme court has a chance to consider the case itself. breyer called the vote a courtesy.. he likely would have sided with the more liberal justices.. making it a deadlocked case.. meaning the matter probably won't be settled until a 9th justice is selected.
