young boy. the 10 year old was riding what's known as the world's tallest water slide in kansas city when something went terribly wrong. the park remains closed while cause of the tragedy. abc's elizabeth hur has more. a popular water park in kansas city.. evacuated and shut down.. after a 10- year-old boy dies.. while riding the world's tallest water slide. the boy's father.. kansas state representative scott schwab.. telling abc news in a statement.. home. firefighters say the house was empty, but the neighbors say homeless people have been living there for two years. there was smoke damage to other parts of the home... the investigation into the cause continues tonight. three people are dead after a crash on the 15 around 3am yesterday near 'valley of fire' over the weekend. nhp says the driver of a van swerved off the road and hit a pole.. then overcorrected and rolled into a ravine. a viewer sent us this video of the fire and smoke coming from the vehicle after the crash. including the driver. 2 other passengers were airlifted to the hospital. the exact cause remains under investigation. still no word from kabul on who's responsible for kidnapping two professors at the american university in afghanistan. the american and australian were pulled from their car this morning at gunpoint.. but the driver and a bodyguard were left unharmed. this follows anoher incident last week when 6 tourists were injured when a rocket hit their van. the taliban claimed

cases are still confined to a small area north of downtown miami. now.. other states with similar climates including louisiana.. alabama.. mississippi.. georgia and texas are coming up with plans to fight the virus. concerns over zika have prompted a nationwide alert.. even in places like las vegas.. which have a much lower threat of the disease spreading. law. rubio.. who dropped out of the presidential race several months ago.. is seeking re-election to the u-s senate in november. for years medical experts have given bad news to women who have had their tonsils or appendix removed - saying their chances of pregnancy were lower. but as melisa raney reports.. a new british study shows that may not be the case after all. a fifteen-year study by the university of dundee in great britain looked at the medical records of more british women. and they discovered the pregnancy rate for women who had their appendix taken out was 54 percent. that figure was 53 percent for those who had tonsillectomies. women who had both removed had a 59 percent pregnancy rate! women who hadn't had either removed had a lower pregnancy rate of almost 44 percent researchers aren't exactly sure why there might be a link - but are looking at a couple scenarios. first, it might be that an inflamed appendix or tonsils
