a man was being disruptive inside a bronx deli. two officers went to the deli and tried to escort him out... guzman managed to get one of the officer's guns from his holster.... (assistant chief larry nikunen/nypd):"we're going to review all the tactics and the equipment involved, but looking at the video, mr. guzman made a very fast move and basically ripped the gun from the officers holster." an officer shot guzman twice in the torso. both men were rushed to the hospital... the 4 bystander shot was pronounced dead. guzman is in critical but stable condition. the second jogging murder in a week -- this time in massachusetts -- where a young woman was killed in broad daylight. the victim, 27 year old vanessa marcotte, went for a jog sunday and never came back. marcotte lived in new york city where she worked as a google executive. she was visiting her mom in massachusetts. investigators don't know if it was a random crime. police sources tell abc news, investigators are looking into signs of sexual assault.

car accident. today marks the second anniversary of the shooting death of michael brown in ferguson, missouri. the unarmed 18-year-old was shot by officer darren wilson on august ninth, 2014. a grand jury decided not to indict the officer. brown's death sparked days of sometimes-violent protests in ferguson and around the country. it also led to a department of justice investigation into policing and court practices in the city. brown's family has since filed a civil lawsuit against the cit now to news out of texas.. some would be robbers in houston got a surprise when they tried to hit up the wrong convenience store. "they said give me your money, i saw the gun in their hand,"that's when i started shooting."
