-- you have to see this video! a man climbing a trump tower in new york! he is seen using some kind of "suction cups to do it.. the stunt has prompted a massive police response with helicopters and airbags. he climbed up approximately 17 stories high. it's not clear why the man decided to do it or who he is. - v deputy bill cooper who was shot earlier today has died.

this was around 9:30 last night. police tell us he died at the hospital. chances are -- by now you've seen the story about the monkey on the loose at mccaran online somewhere... here's an update. the plane landed at mccarran last night around 11. metro says there was in fact a monkey on the plane...the owner had all the proper paperwork for the monkey because it's a service animal. initial reports were saying the monkey was loose on the plane...but officers told us the monkey was never loose. we are on story about one of cliven bundy's sons.... ryan bundy was involved in an altercation with deputies yesteryday - when he refused to be handcuffed. that's according to the associated press. his brother... ammon bundy... says it started because doctors were trying to remove a bullet from his shoulder without his consent. investigators want that bullet because it's one fired during the traffic stop that ended with lavoy finicum's death. the bundys and six other co-defendants are scheduled to go to trial for their alleged

center. the so-called "grim sleeper" serial killer has now been sentenced to death. a california judge upheld the death sentence for 63-year old lonnie david franklin junior. he was dubbed the "grim sleeper" because of a 13-year gap between killings. franklin was convicted earlier this year of killing nine women and a teenage girl from 1985 to 2007. a scathing report from the justice department finds violated people's constitutional rights. the police conduct primarily impacted the city's african-american residents... who were stopped, arrested, and victimized by excessive force more frequently. the doj investigation into the police department was triggered by the death of freddie gray last april. gray died after being transported in a police van. now to florida -- where investigators are working to figure out how a florida officer accidentally killed a

offering a $1,500 reward for any information leading to an arrest. leading to an arrest. we've heard some horror stories about air-b-n-b -- but this one may top them all. a california woman says her renter was filming porn in her home and caused her thousands of dollars in damages! sharon marzouk documented the mess in a video posted on facebook. she says the woman left evidence produce pornography, including sex toys and a production note listing x-rated images she planned to shoot. as the pieces kinda fell into place, that she was more than likely using my bathroom as a business for her to take photos of herself, markzouk says her guest caused about 10 thousand dollars in water damages after leaving the bathtub water running.

you'd like to think you and your family members are safe in a nursing home. but the feds are now trying to make sure you don't get taken advantage of on social media. there are dozens of cases across the country of workers at nursing homes or assisted living centers, posting demeaning pictures on facebook or instagram. the images show everything from abuse.. to people living in the homes naked or even dead. now the government agency that oversees nursing homes is calling out state health about this. that includes making sure all nursing homes have policies to stop staff from taking those demeaning pictures. the feds are also setting uniform standards for how inspectors write up abuse. big news for our local fire departments this afternoon! senator harry reid announced today they will receive nearly four million in additional funding. the funds will be used to hire additional fire fighters and provide departments with some

emergency vehicles and protective gear. nearly all of those funds will go to north las vegas fire department and 200-thousand to henderson. pretty soon there will be no sand at any of our city parks. the big change is for safety reasons. the city of las vegas is getting rid of sand at all 68 of its parks, and replacing it with a squishy rubberized material. officials say they want the parks to be accomodating to all children, including those with disabilities. they also added they're sick of sand like glass and needles.
