started off right!!! guys, so many teachers tell me it's never easy watching students come to class without supplies. they say its the look on the students' faces that forces teachers to reach into their own pockets to meet the need. and today -- 16 teachers got a little extra help to make sure students are ready to be succesful from day one. but for teachers, making that happen can be expensive. som -- of their own money -- to help the students. but in return, it can put a financial burden on the teachers. which is why one local organization raised enough money to offer 16 teachers a 5-hundred dollar gift card to office depot. the shopping spree was today -- and it was one they'll never forget. friends-- still in shock today-- after walking away from a terrible accident. at least two cars crashed earlier this morning-- one rolled over-- landing upside down. aguilar and his friend-- in this other car. he describes those first few moments-- telling me they were hit first-- it felt like we got side swiped thats when their car crashed into the van-- i just remember when we hit, my over to him and i remember him pulling the wheel, trying to avoid the accident aguilar tells me the van then jumped the curb-- crashed through this wall-- hit a light pole that used to be right here-- then flipped over onto the street. it's scary yes the man who called 911 lives just down the sidewalk from the accident-- my room is right here so i thought it was coming through my window he says looking at
