michigan involving cosmetics. police in lake orion say thieves are stealing nail polish to feed heroin addictions. one theft got the attention of police after it was caught on camera. two suspects are seen taking nearly 200 bottles of nail polish from a cvs store worth about 16-hundred dollars. investigators say they then sold the stolen nail polish to area salons and used the cash to buy heroin. " it's a very, very big problem that we're saying it's becoming almost catastrophic," michigan police say they're seeing more of this as the heroin epidemic becomes worse. a new rehab facility is also being built because there aren't enough beds for addicts. the first day of school is just.... - 18- days away!!! that means... many of you will be running out.... during the next couple of weeks

doing the work for you! so.... you know.... where the best deals are!! she's live in the studio.... with the answers now. gina? tricia --- i went to target....walmart.... dollar tree....and office depot... with the suggested school supply list for a first grader. i did the math at each store.....and i tell you who wins for having the cheapest list. get out those school supply lists... and those shopping carts ready. just a reminder -- we're shp according to c-c-d-c....a child entering the first grade needs a variety of things ranging from pencils markers and they were impressive from the start with their color coordinated...organiz ed layout of all the different lists. right in front....i found 4 glue sticks were just 25 cents. and scissors were less than a buck. but overall -- they were the most expensive store..... my grand total was a whopping 74 dollars and four cents. next up....target. some positive take-a-ways from my shopping experience at

items were easy to find. and most of the suggested cleaning supplies on the list....were actually right next to the school supplies. my total came to 53 dollars and 68 cents. third on the list...we're going to walmart. lots of good deals. many of them at the front of supplies....sending me on a hunt in the massive store. regardless -- the total price was the cheapest so far. just 45 bucks and 90 cents. the back to school section was small...but it sure was cheap! i found everything i needed in a matter of minutes. but a lot of stuff was not the brand requested by the district....like crayola markers and pink pearl erasers. that being said -- i found the entire list for just 28 bucks. so a small recap for you. the dollar tree won for the
